This was the answer to my son’s prayer. My oldest has a room in the basement, it’s a bonus room. He loves the independence and distance away from his siblings but was a little bummed out without a closet. So I nabbed this when it ran across my feed and there is no turning back. Called my son to my room, handed it to him and within 45 minutes he had together. Before I knew it he had taken all of his hangable clothes and other “closet” items into the KEKIWE Portable Closet. There are several good sized cubby shelves and a shelf as wide as the closet at the bottom for extra storage. What my son and I like the most is the protective cover with zipper that prevents the dust and dirt from getting in. Solid closet and a great solution for my son.

This closet is made with very sturdy metal poles webbed through the loops of tightly pulled fabric to make a portable yet durable closet. I will say the photo shows a pleated curtain like cover around it however mine does not have pleats nor pulls apart all picture perfect but rather just zips shut. The fabric seems to be decent, and has not ripped or toor while putting together and setting up. (But will update my review as time goes on). I do want to mention before getting ready to set this up, make sure to have plenty of room to lay everything out, because it has many parts and joints making it tedious to put together. Organizing everything made this a little easier. Still took me roughly an hour and 15 mins to complete. Also it comes with 50 poles (49 + 1). The plus one is just that. An extra one. I have to admit when I finished putting everything together just to look down and realize there was a single pole left laying there, I nearly started to panic thinking that I skipped a step somewhere! Lol. Plus it didn’t help that the instructions are printed in very small font, making it hard to read… Hope this helps!😊

This is a great, versatile way to organize a closet. The unit is easy to assemble, it’s simply plastic poles arranged to each other with brackets. The unit can be placed author a cover inside a closet and used to organize a closet in that manner, or it can be assembled with the included zip-up cover to be used as a freestanding closet unit. This is what we did, setting up the freestanding unit with the cover in a storage room, with allowed us to move unused seasonal clothing as well as several sets of bedding, blankets, and extra towels which were are storing in an unfinished storage room, and we can zip the entire thing up to keep dust and dirt out of the closet and off the the clothes and bedding inside.

My daughter has entirely too many clothes and she seems to think they belong on the floor when they don't fit somewhere else. So needless to say, I needed some additional storage for her room. Was a fun project to put together took maybe an hour. I panicked a little when I finished and had one short bar left over but if i would have looked at the part list first it says there is one more than needed. Feels sturdy and is holding my clothes and shoes with out issues.
