To address the photos; the product arrived in a really rather damaged box. The changing pad itself wasn't damaged at all. The pad is pretty cool, very soft, cleans easily. I mean the main point is that it can fold in half. It folding in half wasn't as cool as I thought it would be because it's basically keeping the same volume. It's takes up just as much space as it did before. It's just a different shape. Now I'm not trashing it because there is a really important part that folding it in half still allows for: Keeping the inside clean. Look I'm not a neat freak but there is something, to me, about having a newborn and wanting to keep everything as clean as possible for the first few weeks or months. I mean I'm not super OCD about it. It's just for a bit. And maybe you want to keep it clean on the inside too for your little one. So all in all if this is what you are looking for then it's great. I'd definitely recommend it as the build quality, softness, cleanliness etc is all top notch. 5/5!     • This is great!
Instead of a thin padded liner for travel use, I now can use a more "real" diaper changing pad. This is very similar to the one I'm already using at home (minus the portability of it), which I really like. There's already a cover on it as well, but you can replace and/or take off to wash as needed.

They didn't have stuff like this when my first was small. Changing him in the car on a blanket while he squirms around and you've got a blowout on your hand was not fun. Having a travel changing pad is life changing. Small enough to leave in the car and bring anywhere. Gross rest stop bathroom with no changing table? You're covered. In the park any only porta potties around? No problem. Now you have something you can zip up and take with you when you're done and you don't have to wrangle a blanket or towel. This is nice and soft but also quite sturdy. It's nat as thick as my normal changing pad so makes it great for travel- just in time for the holiday visit. It's easy to clean - just take the cover off to wash and wipe the bed down.
