I have been reading Popular Science since I was in grade school. My father had a subscription since the 60’s. He suggested I read the magazine to “broaden” my horizons. I have been hooked ever since.     • Do away with the Themes
The magazine is well written and the information is good. However, it appears they are using a thematic format in which each issue revolves around one common theme. It's a good idea, but I have found it less interesting to me than the more eclectic style of the past.

I like having this magazine available on Kindle since it saves paper and I can downlaod it and read it anywhere. I am always interested in science and technology content. And it is so affordable compared to the magazine stand price!

The magazine has all the pretty pictures and great articles as the print. It's an exact copy of the print but costs less than newsstand price. You can view page by page in verticals view, or two pages side by side in horizontal view. Don't freak out that the text is tiny, double tap on the article and it transforms it into book view, complete with photos!!!
