I downsized from my annual planner of decades. It was one of the leading names in the industry, however, I was looking for less bulk and complexity & less cost. Was not sure what to expect when I ordered this POPRUN weekly calendar system but pleasantly discovered it is just right in all three categories. My only suggestion would be putting a blank note page on one of the backs of each monthly calendar to highlight important information for that month. The binding is soft & flexible, feels like leather, and continuous stitching around the edge, front and back. Appreciate the pages are bound with stitching rather than glued. Extra points for that! Also displays each day number of the year (Jan 1 = 1of 364) plus the number of each week. I did resolve note space by ordering the POPRUN, Classic (=wide lined) Collection, hardcover executive notebook, and will review that purchase.

Good pocket calendars are hard to find. Some of them use such cheap paper that the book falls apart before the end of January. Others have such huge junk entries (travel info, metric conversions, airline phone numbers) that the calendar is less than half of the whole thing. Hello, we have Google now. Please chill on the extra fluff. Oh and the prices! Hello! The ones in the office stores must think I have an unlimited expense account because they can easily exceed $20. I will pass on that. So here we are. I opted for a color other than black so I can tell which one is mine. The paper is great. It holds a pen. It has a leather feel so I won’t sweat on it and ruin the paper. And at the end of the year I can archive it with the rest of them. So now buy it.

I love these sized appointment books. They are pretty generic but this one has 2 strings attached so you can “bookmark” two spaces in your book. It also has a little envelope thing in the back that u can put a few receipts or money in. I also like the elastic around to hold it shut when not in use. Oh and it has these tear off tabs which I’ve never had, so that u can tear them off up to the specific week for easier accessibility to your current week.

I like the perforated corners but I never felt the need to use it. Comes with two ribbons, which is awesome (I see a lot of planners with only one ribbon; I like to quickly go from monthly to current week without having to flip through). I chose pacific green, very pretty color. Docking 1 star because I didn’t know the pages were cream-colored rather than white (or even a slightly off-white) and I’d rather have white pages.

I love the size of this planner. I find that I'm using this planner more since it's easy to carry around with me. The quality of the paper is good. I think as long as the pen isn't too wet you won't get bleed through. Although you can still see the writing on the back side of the page; it's not enough to interfere with my use of the planner. The pen holder it comes with doesn't stick very well so I ended up not using it. I'm on the fence about pen holders anyway since I tend to use wider pens that don't fit well in the elastic loop anyway. I would purchase this brand of planner again next year.

The leather cover is pretty and more protective than my last heavy paper pocket book. The area to enter my appointments and other information is excellent. I wasn't sure how I would use the month at a glance versus the week at a glance pages. I used both. It didn't take me long to enter all of the 'normal' entries for 2025. Now I can quickly see what is going on as I enter a month and then look at the details on the next 4 pages. However, it is much thicker and a little larger than my previous pocket book. I won't be able to stick it in my back pocket. I will have to put in my jacket pockets. It will be easier to find when I put it in my walker.

I ordered this in 2024 and loved it. I ordered again in 2025, and it is even better in such small ways. First, the same quality is present - leather-like cover feels more expensive than it is, pages are thick throughout and do not "bleed" w the flair marker pen I use. Other organizational details are very helpful, too - a very useful envelope for storing things like stamps, etc in the back cover, a band that holds up very well and keeps it closed, a place for a pen. The perforated corners are great, and useful ribbons for marking places. I could go on and on. What is even better this year is that the "expenses" pages at the front are much better designed with month by month columns. I hope these continue to made by Poprun and that the quality remains this high. If so, these will remain an annual calendar for me.
