This quality pole storage is much more impressive in person. It's obviously designed for pool cues, but it's actually pretty flexible and can be used to store and display a variety of long, slender objects. Like bo staffs, flags or walking sticks. I did, in fact, order this to store my son's bo staffs. He both instructs and competes with the bo staff at his Tae Kwon Do studio and we have them everywhere in our house- pretty much in every closet and behind a bunch of door, a few might even be under the bed. They are thin, long, made of wood or metal and difficult to store safely, much like a pool cue I imagine, and are constantly falling on us. This rotating stand is exactly what we needed. It was easy to assemble and made of solid, predrilled wood. Not only does it look nice, it preforms even better. It can accommodate a variety of sized staffs, from full length competition sized staffs to smaller escrima sticks. It takes up minimal space and keeps all the staffs corralled safely in one location, making them much easier to find and 100% less likely to fall and injure someone. Over all, we are extremely satisfied with the product and only wish we ordered it earlier.

The picture in the add shows a lot darker finish, it is pretty much natural pine. It has a slight burn to bring out the wood grain, then clear coat. It is a smooth texture, not a rough grain, should be easy to dust. It did go together easily. You can put it together with the supplied small screw driver, and I used it for the bolts with nuts for the middle tower section. Push the nut into the hole all the way, that will hold the nut flat, then put in the bolt and tighten with the screw driver. You need to keep turning until the bolt stops turning or the two sections will still be loose, this takes a lot of force but it works. Joining the tower section you just put together to the base is straight forward, but I used a drill driver on the lightest torque setting because it's a long screw. Putting on the top is the same as the bottom, just 1 screw. Make sure these are pretty tight or the whole thing will be wobbly. Once the whole thing is put together it's pretty stable, I have it nearly filled up and it works just fine. There is some movement in the bearings at the bottom but not excessive. Overall the rustic nature of this fits in my room and cleans things up from pool cues leaned up all over.

As a cue holder this works pretty well. It will hold a lot of cues and the table rotation works good, spinning smoothly, not rough like other lazy-susan type hardware. But this isn't at all as nice as the picture. This is just stained pine. For $50 I would expect maple or walnut. Not the case here.

This pool cue holder is exactly as described. It is a medium, dark colored wood that is very attractive. You do have to assemble it, but it took me less than six minutes to assemble. It was very simple. It can hold up to 16 cues and it rotates. The rotation is very smooth and fluid. So far this cue holder is working out very well for us.
