Color: Coffee Bean #035

These shutters were exactly what was advertised. We ordered the 11x59" and 11x35" (3-board) versions. The correct size, color, and style as ordered. Installation was straightforward with several options included. And a bonus for our schedules, they arrived a day early.

These look nice but had to play around with hanging them. Despite seller recommending a third set of screws with shutters of this height (71 inches) there were no holes in the middle barren area to accomplish this. Acres provided did not work for brick so had to buy those separate.

Good description. I’ve had them on a year with a lot of exposure to the sun and they’re doing great. I love the new curb appeal. One shutter top plank doesn’t tap & lock but all the others did. The color matched the typical items I already had in place.

After some research, I found that painting white exterior shutters in a dark color can cause warping, buckling, and bending due to heat absorption from the sun. The black cosmos paintable shutters were the perfect solution to this problem. Because they are already black, painting them another dark color (SW Iron Ore) was less likely to cause this issue. In addition we used vinyl safe paint to further mitigate that risk. We are confident these shutters will withstand the Colorado sun on our west facing home. We are very pleased with this purchase.
