Ordered these as most stores have been closed the past couple months. The fit was exactly what I was hoping for and I found them completely comfortable. This is my first pair of laceless shoes since I bought slip-ons as a kid and I've been pleasantly surprised how well they fit even when I've found myself needing to run or jog briefly at times. I really expected them to slip. The white trim does tend to get quite dirty over time as anyone who has grown up with Converse or similar style can attest to. Build quality seems quite good, as usually by this time the glue holding the trim to the canvas at the flex areas near the balls of the feet tends to pull apart in the shoes I've had in this style. These seem to be holding strong at that point which is a definite plus for how long I expect them to last before I need another pair. Style obviously is subjective to a point, but these work for me in a semi-casual office environment. Minor annoyance I have with a lot of shoes these days is "fuzzy" bottom that comes on them but I know that's to get around certain import issues. I'd recommend these and will likely be ordering them again in the future. ... show more

    • Great looking sneaker, but it WEARS VERY QUICKLY.
First off, initial impressions: 5/5 "WOW." This sneaker looks great. The Ralph Lauren logo on the side, accompanied by 'Polo' on the back really makes it stylish, especially in the 'Grey' and Blue colors. The colored line on the side wall of the sneaker accents it perfectly, and friends will honestly ask you where you got the sneakers, although some may also say "Aren't there supposed to be laces?". I suppose you could add laces, but to be honest part of the allure of the shoe is the slip-on/no-lace aspect. Comfort: 3/5 "Ehh..." Although the sneaker looks great, it's not the most comfortable shoe you've ever worn. The sole is thin and provides no support whatsoever. You will notice the change in comfort between these shoes and a good-fitting quality pair of tennis shoes. Wear and Tear: 1/5 "Just no." So the sneakers look amazing and are okay in terms of comfort, how do they wear? Don't ask. I have had three pairs of these sneakers, including a similar pair of leather Ralph Lauren boat-shoes with the seemingly identical side-wall and sole template. I'm probably a different wearer than most, in that I wear a pair or two of shoes until they come apart. These sadly don't last. My first pair went within 3-4 months, and the next two went in less time. By 'went', I mean that the sole wears down to the point that you can see inside the shoe to the padding, the side-wall peels apart in places, and the heel portion wears away. Although the canvas top holds up fantastically, it's the sole and side-wall template that are the failure point. Even in the leather RL boat shoes, the same template is used and it wore out just as quickly. If you're a wear-until-dead type of person, these may not be the shoe for you. Overall: Great looks, okay comfort-wise, awful wear. Together? 3/5 stars. ... show more
