So, I’m not a professional pool player nor do I know a lot about pool cues, I just wanted pool cues to replace the old, cheap ones we have. I ordered other cues that came in a set of four, but I wanted this one so I would have one that I could call my own. I really like this pool cue. It’s smooth, straight, well balanced, and feels good in the hands. I also like the horse head design, but I don’t care for the horseshoe. I love the color. I got the 19 oz. version. I looked online and read that, if you don’t know what you prefer, get the 19 oz., so that’s what I did. It’s heavier than our old ones, but I like this one better. I don’t know if this pool cue will make me a better player or not, but I’ll look good while trying. ... show more

I've only had the stick for a few months and it is stored in a carrying case. The butt end of the stick is already showing signs of warping. You can physically see the curvature in it. It seems to shoot okay, but this is very disturbing to me that this has already warped. I was unsure of ordering a cue stick from Amazon for this very reason. I suggest you buy locally to see what you are getting. Disappointed! **UPDATE**. I received a reply from the seller and they have committed to sending me a replacement stick. It came with minor scratches and a small dent look. But it’s still nice. The eye looks a little cheap. But besides looks, it works.

The media could not be loaded. Just so there's no confusion, a case is NOT included. The construction is sturdy; Both ends are straight, and no warps. The feel of the handle is comfortable, and compliments the wonderful design. Although it can be used as a breaking cue, I still recommend using one for breaking and a different for normal playing. Got the 21oz in blue. The stick was packed well and the top half of the stick was packed in a separate plastic tube. A 7 page manual was included that covers useful hints and cue tip replacement steps. I have a separate stick for breaking and use this one for everything else. I looked around quite a bit before buying and for $60.00 dollars you get a nice stick! I like it and most likely will buy another. ... show more

i am an experienced player and bought this as a starter/house cue for 19 yr old son in law thinking that if it broke- no biggie, its got a horse and is red, which is what the kid likes. turned out to be better than expected, straight and shoots well. would buy again.
