I got the first card, and it only had 1M available space. Tried gparted and other methods, and could not get anything more than 1M (yes, 1M, not 1G, not 64G). I called PNY to see what they had to suggest, and they said to return it via my vendor (Amazon). PNY offered no other advice, like how to check it, how to format it, nada. So, I returned it to get a replacement. Replacement, same problem. So, either I don't know what I'm doing, or I got two bad cards. I'm not new to micro SD, I formatted others with linux gparted, or linux terminal, or linux mint format tools. Nothing works on these PNY cards, so I wonder WTF. Returned the second one for a refund. So, I'll just put my simple little 32G U1 card in my Raspberry Pi and give up on PNY. ... show more

The microSD card is 128GB, but only 116GB is available, 12GB less than advertised. 1 GB = 1,000,000,000,000 bytes. 1 TB = 1,000,000,000,000,000,000 bytes, I did not expect 12 GB less.

Capacity: 128GB
The card that arrived was advertised as 128gb unformatted but mine shows 125. I know once a drive is formatted to exFAT, NTFS, etc it loses about 10% available capacity as partition information needs to use it but this one actually partitions at around 3gb less space than sandisk models I used in the past. That is a huge difference and since I needed to clone my other sd card I cannot use this one as I need every bit of space available. ... show more

What can ya say about an SD storage card? After all, it is pretty much like every other mini storage card. And this one is no different. Only the price is a bit better than most and still be a name that I know and trust. It is a tiny little guy and fit into my new security camera as easy as it gets. I did have a little trouble formatting it. I have formatted many cards but this one defyed my attemps. In the end i did win out. Now I can't fault the card as it may have been something that I did or didn't do correctly. I do like the fact that it will store over a week of continuous recording. After all was said and done we had a little over 116GB left when formatting was finished. It stored the video cleanly and reproduced it clear as if you were right there when we tried to see how well it handled the videos. When you over write a card it takes a little tole on the card and only time will tell how long this will last. Comes on a blister pack card and includes the so very small CD card and an adapter with a lock on it to pop in the lap top for viewing. ... show more

This is an excellent SDXC card that works as designed and without issues. Speed of read/write is in line with the advertised ratings, and I have had no issues with formatting, storage or computer transfer with the card. Comes with an adapter for full-size SD readers. Caution: This is a V30 speed capable card and UHS 1. Good for most uses but it will buffer if using a high end camera/video system with continuous fast shutter speeds. It will also have some issues with 4K/60 and faster. No problem with 4K/30, but any higher frame rate will cause buffering. All in all, I purchased this for my cameras that don't need faster speeds, and it is a bargain when compared against high performance competitors. FIVE STARS for me along with my honest and hearty recommendation...as long as you don't require UHS II or V60/90 read/write speeds for your equipment. ... show more
