Exactly what I needed!
These are as described (but size is actually slightly less than stated: 4 5/8" x 6 5/8"), they are coated enough to slide across each other, and large and heavy enough card stock to be seen and used in a smaller classroom. I would say the weight of the cards is a little bit sturdier than typical card stock (because of the coating), but not sturdy enough for children to use. Great for teachers though! Also sturdy enough to abuse for crafts! Which is what I have done (see photos): they successfully endured sanding off the plastic coating and covering the back with a layer of tissue paper to make a nice writing surface. The front will be collaged painted and decorated.

Very Sturdy. My horse loves this.
The media could not be loaded. Needed large cards for a horse trick. These were perfect. He hasn't destroyed them yet!

Nice Cards But Not Cut The Same
We bought these cards because my husbands mother can't see very good so we thought she'd like the large size. The problem is - I ordered 2 decks because of the card game we play - they are different sizes and the cut is just enough off it makes it a little harder to get a good shuffle. We will keep the cards to use for single deck card games - maybe I'll try the other brand and see if they are cut the same.
