I am 59 this year. I ware a 2x on top and 22w - 24w in pants. My hips are an issue with tops. I have so many blouses that are 3x, 4x that I bought to fit my hips but to large on the top. I don't like my clothes clinging to me showing everything so I like them long. I haven't bought myself clothes in a few years because I went crazy with a well known store for plus sizes who are way too expensive and figured I pay them off and do with what I had. I need something cool for the hot whether. From trial and error I know what kind of cut I need to fit both my hips and shoulders. I knew this cut would work because its more flowing on the bottom, but I've NEVER bought clothes online and was really afraid that I was wasting my money. I love this top! It is soft, lite and not too clingy. It fits perfect and I can't wait to purchase another. Gonna get myself in trouble with these.
