When I tried the dress on, something just seemed peculiar about the fit. After looking at it closely, I noticed it had been altered by whoever wore it last. The neckline was stitched up high and it was taken up at the shoulders. I can't believe someone had the nerve to do that, then return it. I couldn't return it because I was going to wear it to a wedding a few days later. After I removed the stitching, it fit just fine. It is a lovely dress that flows nicely from the empire waistline.
