I bought it for my toddlers (ages 2 and 4) but I am also obsessed. The pink is absolutely beautiful and we love the sound. We are simply using it at home to help with calming, especially for bedtime so no complaints in terms of the sound. The drum is light enough for my 4 year old to pick it up and carry. The drum sticks and the carrying bag for the stick and drum are both very nice. I would definitely send this as a gift. I feel all daycare should have this thing - it’s wonderful! ... show more

I bought this for my preschool class. It is very easy for them to use in their music center. The kids love the vibration and ease of making music with it. I love that it is not a super loud drum but gives a more relaxing tone in my classroom.

    • Sweet sound but not what I needed.

This little drum has a sweet little tone. I loved playing it. 4 stars for its sweetness. I returned it though because I do sound healings, and I couldn’t use it with either 440 Hz or 432 Hz tuned instruments. I’m sure with percussion and other things it would work fine. My tuning app can’t discern any individual notes on any of the tongues. I can’t tell what key it is tuned to, maybe due to the overtones. If it were the only instrument I had and I just wanted to play for myself in the house, I would have kept it. Professionally it just didn’t work for either of my set ups. For people who would play for relaxation this is probably a really sweet buy. I really loved playing it and it was very meditative. I just had a different intention in mind. ... show more
