This is my new favorite bra! I always order a size larger around than I really need because I don't like using the very end hooks, I don't know why. This bra has four rows of hooks on the back for better forming around the sides and it feels very natural on but looks flattering as well! The cups are not lined but the fabric is not thin, more like a girdle material. I do have to mention that there is a slight area at the top that sometimes looks a little loose, probably not so much if you have implants however. The shoulder areas are wider but I do have to retighten my straps every time I wear it because they tend to slide a little. I'm used to that wearing a D cup so, for me, it's not a big issue. This is his daughter speaking. So this has been a journey. Before I decided to try this Playtex bra it has been years since I've bought a bra in a real size (ex. 44DD) since I have only been buying bras in sizes XL or 2XL, so I just picked a size and started from there since their size chart is kind of confusing and not really helpful. Before I decided to buy one and try it I read lots of recent reviews from reviewers who wore a D or bigger and the reviews were 50/50 as to who liked it and disliked it, so I was a little skeptical, but I get that everyone's body is different and what bras work for some don't work for others so I decided to give this bra a shot. I'm a chubby girl and my 'girls' are pretty big. For reference my band size above my bust is 43 inches and my bust is 45 inches. I measure my band size above my bust because under my bust I get a significantly smaller number which is 39 inches and I think that'd be uncomfortably tight. I started with a 44G in the Nude color and it was far too big in the cup (lots of extra material in the top of the cup that wrinkled up and you could see under a t-shirt) but the band size was perfect. From there I did an exchange for a 44DDD in the same color which was slightly too big in the cups and I ran into the same problem as the previous bra. So I returned both of those and bought a 44DD in the nude color and it was perfect. I decided to wash it after I decided to keep it and it did well in the wash and dryer (even though I know you're supposed to hand wash bras but I'm too lazy to do so between college and work). I wanted to test this bra so I wore it out while running errands a few days ago and it was a nicer day so I was kind of sweating and the bra did excellent with wicking away my sweat and keeping me dry. This bra also makes my boobs look AMAZING under shirts because it lifts so well and has a nice natural shape to it (no weird cone shape). Because this bra is unlined hard nips will show through which used to be an issue for me but I've learned to get used to it because with big boobs unlined bras keep me cooler and more comfortable. Some may think this bra looks like a grandma bra but I really don't think it looks all that bad. This bra does separate the 'girls' a little. I don't get any uniboob. I also think the straps are pretty comfortable even though there isn't much padding in them. With the high sides and full coverage of the cups there is no spillage on the sides or on the top. Overall this Playtex bra is very comfortable, lifts well, contains the 'girls', and wicks away sweat. The day I got my 44DD bra in nude in the mail I loved it so much I bought another one in pink (gentle peach) color (which I just received in the mail today and fits well and the color is cute) and now I'm debating on buying another in purple (plummed out) color. The pink and nude colors don't show under white shirts or black shirts. The only thing left is to hope this bra lasts a long time from wash and wear. I love this bra and would highly recommend it. I had been wearing this type of bra for 15 years, but ditched “real” bras in 2020, because why bother at home. When life moved forward, I stuck with pullover stretchy bras for comfort. But now late perimenopause has increased my cup size for no reason other than to make me miserable, and all those “sport” bras feel restrictive. I tried to size up with those but I couldn’t find affordable alternatives in my size. So I decided to try my old favorite in a larger cup (my band size hadn’t changed) and OMG, so much relief and comfort. I hadn’t realized my girls were being so squished into a uniboob. I can actually see my bellybutton again because there is sufficient separation! LOL! For reference I am a properly measured (google it ladies, it’s easy) 38DDD and it fits in the band and cups perfectly. Pros: Inexpensive, smooth/seamless, pretty and most importantly can be worn all day without to much discomfort (I mean, it’s still a bra!). Also, these hold up in the regular wash well. Sizing is accurate. Cons: The straps are short, and you kind of have to lean forward to get in them; and they feel a little scratchy when new around the band and straps (not the cups) but that does soften up a little with wear. I still have my old 38DD bras in this style and they look exactly the same, they haven’t changed. They look and feel the same, no decline in quality. If you are looking for a full coverage, non-padded, unwired bra that provides decent support when sized correctly and is budget friendly, I recommend trying this style. ... show more

I am a 44 DDD, so bras are hard to find that are true to size and comfortable. These bras are true to size, comfortable & good quality material. They lift and hold well, even for bigger size ladies! The straps are nice and wide and don't dig in or migrate. Very pleased so far with product!!

It's comfortable, supportive, and gives me a great lift. I love that this bra is wireless. I don't have to worry about uncomfortable underwires digging into my skin. And the straps are wide and comfortable, so they don't dig into my shoulders either. The coverage is great too. This bra covers everything, so I don't have to worry about any spillage. And the lift is amazing. My breasts look perkier and more lifted than ever before. But there is one downside to this bra: it's a bit hard to put on. The straps are a little tricky to adjust, and the back clasp is a bit stiff. But once I have it on, it's so comfortable that I don't even notice it's there. Overall, I recommend this bra. It's comfortable, supportive, and gives me a great lift. Just be prepared to struggle a bit putting it on. ... show more
