I had been wearing this type of bra for 15 years, but ditched “real” bras in 2020, because why bother at home. When life moved forward, I stuck with pullover stretchy bras for comfort. But now late perimenopause has increased my cup size for no reason other than to make me miserable, and all those “sport” bras feel restrictive. I tried to size up with those but I couldn’t find affordable alternatives in my size. So I decided to try my old favorite in a larger cup (my band size hadn’t changed) and OMG, so much relief and comfort. I hadn’t realized my girls were being so squished into a uniboob. I can actually see my bellybutton again because there is sufficient separation! LOL! For reference I am a properly measured (google it ladies, it’s easy) 38DDD and it fits in the band and cups perfectly. Pros: Inexpensive, smooth/seamless, pretty and most importantly can be worn all day without to much discomfort (I mean, it’s still a bra!). Also, these hold up in the regular wash well. Sizing is accurate. Cons: The straps are short, and you kind of have to lean forward to get in them; and they feel a little scratchy when new around the band and straps (not the cups) but that does soften up a little with wear. I still have my old 38DD bras in this style and they look exactly the same, they haven’t changed. They look and feel the same, no decline in quality. If you are looking for a full coverage, non-padded, unwired bra that provides decent support when sized correctly and is budget friendly, I recommend trying this style. ... show more

I am admittedly, fat. Bras fit chubby ladies different, making it a challenge to find one that fits well. This bra passes 5 important tests for me. 1. Straps are wider on the shoulder, so they don't dig in. No red, raw strap marks. 2. When you bend over, the girls stay strapped in, instead of having to re-adjust after a partial escape. 3. The hooks, strap sliders and rings that connect the straps to the band are all METAL, not plastic, so these bras last a long time. 4. Lined with fabric, no weird foam padding to be reshaped, ironed or removed for washing. 5. Band around the torso is wider and has 3 hooks. This bra is NOT for those with a long bodice and large distance from shoulders to breasts. In my photo I have the straps extended as long as they will go. This bra is tight at first, but softens and gets a little stretchier after wearing and washing a few times. On my new bras I use the last set of hooks, but on my older "broken in" bras, I am able to use the first set of hooks. I've had some of these bras for several years, and they are still great bras. It's been years since I've worn Playtex, but I did not recall the quality being this mediocre. It's not a terrible bra, but you get what you pay for. I think this might work for women who don't have heavy breasts, but the moment you start putting stress on the structure of this bra, it does not fit well. It kept riding up in the back, even after adjusting the strap length. The material is thin and the support on the sides of the breast is very minimal. I wasn't expecting a ton of support for the price, but this is relying almost entirely on how tight you have the bra cinched. At this point, it's mostly a fitted camisole... skip this if you have large/heavy breasts. I should have just gone and spent the money on the $35 bra I usually get, but I thought I would try to save some money - my bad! ... show more

Great fit, no, perfect fit! Super comfy. Doesn’t show through clothes and supports me all day long. My job alternates between sitting at a desk and moving around lifting boxes and getting sweaty. At the end of a busy day it doesn’t smell bad so I can go a few days between washes. I am going to buy more! This is a great bra. I'm getting no underwires because I had heart surgery & have nasty wounds/scars across my right side ribs & breast. This bra is perfect: it's feminine--lacy detail at straps which are wide & comfy & will stay put, & the cut really works to support, separate & lift my chest. The band doesn't roll, like most of the other bras I tried. Great design & fabrication! Only problem, a seam cuts across a wound that is still healing & tender (bandaged, not exposed, yuck!) so I am returning. But if I ever go underwire-free overall, this is the bra I'll buy because it's fabulous! ... show more

Update on the bra... It LIFTS!! It doesn't separate well. Even if I put the girls up and to my pits they meet in the middle but not BAD like those nursing bras from Amazon. More like peas in a pod 🫛 so like they've got their own space but still kinda merge together. Not touching though. I didn't feel like I looked like tube boob under a shirt. I liked the nice shape I had. Only thing I really didn't like was I felt like the straps needed to be a tiny bit longer for my preference but they didn't dig in and the band was comfortable. The bra did peek out of my v neck top at the top bc the material is slick and I don't even know how that happened probably the toddler reaching for boob. I prob won't wear it with V necks anymore. But ultimately I'll buy another one bc it's cheap and I liked the fit and comfort ... show more
