A nice companion set to the princess castle. It’s a royal picnic that doesn’t recycle too many pieces from other sets. The baby carriage is charming, as are the figures and animals. The backdrop adds a lot too. I’ve always loved these calendars, and this one is no exception!

My daughter really liked this advent calendar- lots of pieces and scenes she was able to create. However, some of the days were… blah. A couple ducks in one, tea cups in another. I don’t know, my daughter would have probably liked more accessories for the princess vs the animals/ picnic stuff.
