The figures are all advancing rapidly with arms that allow you to depict them all at 'right shoulder shift' or at the more intimidating 'charge' . Also for all the zouaves both unadorned fezzes and fezzes with turbans (for those units who occasionally used them in the field) are included. The box also includes uniform guides flags and bases. The Perry twins continue to deliver excellent, high quality, historically accurate miniatures for over 4 decades, and this is no exception. I wanted to create a battalion of Wheat's Tiger Rifles for Sharp Practice or another Horse & Musket skirmish system. The detail is excellent, they come with a choice of turban or fez heads (the single box will satisfactorily cover just about any conceivable Zouave regiment, Federal or Confederate), and a choice of arms in either right shoulder shift or attack drill (pose). A whopping 42 miniatures are included in the box, including command figures with officers, drummers, and color sergeants. For those unsure what exactly this is, these ARE NOT TOYS. They are bare plastic historical miniatures, which require cleaning (with sharp knives and sandpaper), assembly with solvent glue (unsuitable for children unsupervised), and painting by teen+ historical wargamers or under close adult supervision by an experienced modeler. ... show more
