Several of my motorcycles have bodywork that is held together with push rivet clips like these. Every time you replace an air filter or do a valve adjustment, you have to take body panels off, which means you have to find these in their hidden corners and figure out how to pop them out. When you lose or damage one, they cost a small fortune to replace with OEM clips from Suzuki or Honda. Not to mention how long you wait for OEM parts to be delivered. These clips are not nearly as nicely manufactured as the OEM clips. They are rough around the edges. But they function just fine, and it’s not like they are visible from outside. You get 120 of these for what you pay for 1 from Suzuki, and having them on a shelf in the garage means you never have to wait. They are delivered all jumbled together in one plastic bag. It takes a bit of sorting and trial and error to figure out which pieces go with which. But it is not that big a deal. In the tope half of my photo you can see the three types, each assembled, with one open and one closed. I am pleased to have them! And so is my cat, who has already claimed one. Since they are now so cheap and plentiful, I let him keep that one. I think he put it under the refrigerator. ... show more

    • Good for general use, some assembly required
On the plus side, this is a good assortment of general-purpose plastic rivets, applicable to more than just the stated uses. If you've ever taken off a door panel, a fender liner, or a trunk panel in your car, you know that sometimes these rivets get lost or broken, and having these available is a huge win. I'm not a pro, and for me, a good handful of each size is probably going to last as long as I do. There are two reasons why I docked a star from this rating. One is that sorting and assembly are required. You basically get a bag full of parts and it's up to you to put the rivets and the stems together. It's not a super big deal, but it takes a little patience. The second is that the numbers stated are kind of an approximation. The actual number of rivets I received, in order of size (smallest to largest) is 32, 30, 28, 26. There were also a few stems (the part in the middle) left over. Tons of different sized rivets and clips, and not just manufacturer (or motorcycle) specific. I use them as my catch-all when I'm replacing clips that have gone missing or break if you look at them funny. Good value!

I needed some clips for my motorcycle. After changing out some parts over the years my clips have become broken or brittle. This kit had the 2 sizes I needed and they worked great. Plus I have a lot of extras now for the future.

Good quality set of the most common used plastic rivets used in the automotive industry. This comes with a few types of push type rivets for your interior and exterior applications. Other than that, not much more to say about these than they are what they are advertised to be.

I spent a great deal of time carefully prying these out and salvaging them to reuse them, only to have them break or fall out due to the wear caused by pushing in and pulling out, since they are meant to be a one time use. Now with this kit, I can simply replace with new and save time and have a more secure fit. New replacements are better than worn out originals. ... show more
