  • Please mind the gap!
I really just wanted to use that phase even though it does not fit. I really like this monitor. I recently got a new desktop gaming pc and thought the full hd monitor would be enough to do it. It was not. Full HD is not enough on a 27 inch display. I was used to laptops so I decided to go up to a 1440p display. I spent way more time searching for this monitor than I care to admit. I did not want to spend alot of money, but I wanted a slight curved display, high refresh rate, and reliability. This is a VA panel and I like that it is not matte like so many gaming displays. The monitor is pretty basic, but in a good way to not ruin the look I was going for. Setup was straight forward with no gaffs on my part. The display had the desired effect of looking good enough for my games and delivering decent performance. I really have no complaints except maybe that I wish the display stretched more to the edges as there is black bars that go around it not quite getting that full screen look. ... show more

  • Value is off the charts
Style: 32" Curved 1080p 165Hz VA 1ms (MPRT)
I got the 27inch 1440p (PCX277A). Monitor is exactly what it says on the tin. It looks great and if you're like me and were using an old hand-me-down the difference is night and day. If there are any significant faults with this monitor I don't know of one. I guess you could critique the lack of USB-C/DPA video if you really wanted to? One thing I did notice was that by upgrading to a 1440p (2K) monitor the games I ran at 1080p looked blurry; since the ratios are different pixels get stretched if viewing the 1080p content. So if you're getting this for gaming make sure you've got the horsepower to make 1440p your default resolution. If you do have to run something at 1080P it's not egregious, but noticeable. Also got the PCX325 (32 inch, 1080p variant) for a hard-of-seeing family member and it works great. It’s basically a TV in front of their face and e-mails and such are nice and legible. ... show more

  • Pros/Cons @ 1 Month+ Daily Usage
Okay hear me out, I've been using this monitor for a little over a month now. I've made a somewhat comprehensive list of pros and cons. *NOTE subjective cons will be separate* Pros: HDMI 2.0 AND Display Port compatibility <3 Wonderful UI, easily accessible and understandable! (The menu that's accessed from the monitors back button) Optional Blue Light Filter, absolutely love this feature. Windows may have it built in but it's kinda Jank 🤷♀️ Cons: Back light "bleed" I believe someone else here posted a photo of the BLB as well. If not, it's when the back light shows brightly through the display, colors etc. It's somewhat painful on the eyes. HDMI has slight display issues. I notice "flickers" from time to time. More specifically Horizontal tearing 😢, this could be a manufacturer defect, it doesn't bother me much. *Subjective pros/cons below as follows* Con: Weight, this mothertrucker is HEAVY. However it does have a VERY sturdy stand! Con: IMO External PSU, for those of you who don't know, it's the little power brick that helps turn the thing on. *Only a con because, cable management hassle 😑 henceforth subjective* Pro/Con: This one depends. The stand is wonderful! It's very sturdy, it easily attaches to the rear of the monitor. HOWEVER it can come detached (improperly) if lifted from the base and not the monitor itself. (This was tested for your convenience 💙) Overall, if this monitor busted on me tomorrow, I think I would be 75% likely to purchase a new one. The other 25% would be a smaller monitor for work purposes. ... show more

  • Excellent, Excellent, Excellent
Get this monitor! I got it on a lightning sale, I would have been glad to pay full price. I never heard of the company Pixio before. I was looking at the traditional brands when this popped up on my screen. I read the reviews on the 27inch and decided to take a chance with the 32 inch. I'm glad I did. I brought it mainly for gaming, I play Warhammer Total War 3, Madden 22, BattleTech, Mech Warrior, etc, this monitor makes all of those games really pop! So crisp, I have seen things for the first time, I was like "I never saw that detail on my other monitor!" I have to say Madden 22 looks AMAZING. Now for the curve, I like it a lot. It make gaming feel more "cozy" hard to explain, just feels better for gaming. I don't watch movies or do productivity stuff on it so I can't really say how those feel, but I am guessing they would also feel great. Easy to set up out of the box. You will need to go into the settings and make some minor adjustments like setting it to 165hz, taking advantage of HDR and Free Sync. It's performs like the expensive big name brand monitors. I highly recommend. ... show more

  • Disappointed in Pixio
As the title states Pixio thoroughly let me down. I have owned 2 monitors. One was for 2.5 years and the other has been 4 months. The first monitor stopped communicating with my pc and then stopped turning on altogether. The company had discontinued the monitor so I was unable to repair it. Pretty unfortunate. As the first monitor had been decent I went with them again and purchased this monitor. My monitor stopped working suddenly one day. I attempted full trouble shooting and when it failed I attempted to move it so that I could test it on another system. Pressing my thumb on the screen smashed a pixel. After being frustrated with myself I contacted support about repair and the price is 75% of the monitors value. After owning it for 4 months and it seemed rather fragile to be honest. So the monitors don’t last and are fragile. Your best bet is to go with a brand that is more reliable and has better warranty services. ... show more
