Description
The Pitch Hopper creates a temporary, level working surface on asphalt-shingle roofs up to a 12/12 pitch. Its patented dual-angle design and friction-force foam help professionals kneel, stand, stage tools and reposition as the work moves across the roof. Use the lower-pitch side for roofs at or below approximately 9/12. Flip the Pitch Hopper to use the steeper side on pitches from approximately 9/12 through 12/12. The soft foam bottom uses weight and friction to grip dry asphalt shingles while helping protect the shingle surface from scratches and dents. Easy-grip hand areas and lightweight construction make it simple to reposition the Pitch Hopper as the work progresses. Each Pitch Hopper is rated to support up to 250 pounds when used correctly on an appropriate roof surface. Use only on dry, clean asphalt shingles with adequate granule coverage. Do not use on wet, icy, oily, damaged or debris-covered surfaces. Never use the Pitch Hopper to support a ladder, plank or scaffold. These precautions align with Pitch Hopper’s published usage instructions and FAQ. Place the Pitch Hopper with its working surface parallel to the shingle line. Keep your weight centered and both feet on the platform. Check the foam and roof surface before every use, then reposition the tool as your work area changes. Work Smarter. Work Faster. Conquer Steep Sloped Roofs With Confidence. The Pitch Hopper: The ultimate dual-angled wedge designed to give you a stable, temporary working surface on pitches up to 12/12. Whether you're climbing up from a ladder, setting down tools, or just looking for a break that won’t send you sliding, we’ve got your back. Proudly made and operated 100% in the USA, we’re honored to see thousands of roofing professionals ditch the cushion and upgrade to a tool designed with them in mind.
