CLEANING AND CARE: This model can be machine washed, removing the insole first if it is removable. For cleaning, use a cold and short program or gentle cycle. Please note that if it is a dyed canvas pattern, it may lose color when in contact with water. Let them dry in the shade to prevent them from fading in the sun. You can put a sheet of newspaper inside to absorb moisture and maintain shape.

Not exactly as pictured. I bought these because I liked how thick the soles looked in the pictures (thicker than the typical Hey Dude shoes), but they aren't that thick in real life. They are just the same as Hey Dude thickness. Not bad...just wasn't what I was expecting.

I have worn these shoes non stop all summer and I can say that these shoes are really durable and have a very impressive build quality. The insole provides a surprising amount of support despite its thin design. The insoles are easily removed for cleaning. These shoes served me well at the beach this summer and the sand does not get down in them easily. Despite hundreds of miles walked in these the soles are in excellent shape and the shoes grip wet and slick surfaces well. These shoes work well in an industrial kitchen setting too, and are all day comfortable no matter what I am doing. For the money these shoes represent an excellent value and due to their durability and suave looks, I strongly recommend them. If you normally wear a size 10.5, then like me you would be better off with a size 11, as the shoes are a little small in size. ... show more

    • Great style but run small.

I am a big fan of this style of shoe. Comfortable, convenient, and stylishly casual. I have worn several from the "major name brand" and was excited to try a new company. These delivered on the style, but came up short, pun intended, for me. I normally wear a size US 12.5. I have had no issues with ordering a shoe from other brands in size 13 when they don't offer half sizes. These were not only narrow but also short. They seem to be a full size off. I wore them hoping they would break in, but found them too uncomfortable (toes getting numb/tingling) and had to stop wearing them. As an aside, the outsoles were very slick when first out of the box. After a few days of wear, they scuffed in and it was no longer an issue. They see to be made with quality materials, and have no visible flaws. I would love to be able to wear them long term to assess durability, but can't due to the sizing. I understand that some shoes run small and that is not the reason for 4 stars. The reason is the price. I can't see the value in these as they cost more than the major, established brand. If you like the style feel free to give them a try. Just make sure to size up a full size. ... show more

Don’t expect a lot of arch support or foot protection with these Pita casual shoes. These shoes run small; I wear a size 12, and should’ve requested the next size larger. The insole on these shoes is fairly thick, seems to be made of a compact/compressed foam, but has no arch support whatsoever. The material of the shoe is canvas or a canvas-like material. The shoe is nice looking, and does attract attention, but don’t expect much support or protection for your feet. These will be great for our next cruise! ... show more
