It’s pretty rare to find a brand of anything that never misses a step in the quality of what they do. Pitaka really is one of those businesses. Years back when I was looking for a light, but protective case I first came across Pitaka and was intrigued by the idea of a carbon fiber case. I opted to order one - at that time the classic carbon fiber coloring was all they had - but it the lightness of the case, the soft and grippy texture and its protection all turned me into a fan of their product. Over the years it is always a Pitaka case I order for my iPhones. Since that time they have produced even more products and now so many interesting and cool color options to their staple phone cases. Though I already owned a couple of their cases for my current phone, I could not help but pickup one of these new color styles. The case is their expected quality - grippy and yet soft feeling, smooth edges and a case feel you just want to touch…along with being light and protective. Now on the protection front let me be clear…this is going to protect from scratches and what I would call simple drops…though depending on the surface the case will take the worse of it. This case is not intended for some huge drop - they sell a more heavy duty for that. The color and design I love - vibrant and just really attractive. Has enough of an edge on the front to lift your display off a table (a thicker screen protector it may not) and your buttons are exposed for more of that case-less feel. Cameras are well protected with a metal ring around them. If you’re the type of person, like myself, that wants the caseless feel with some protection and a case of real quality…Pitaka is the perfect choice. AND, even though it is thin and light - it does have MagSafe built right in with a really good, strong hold. Order one, you will not be disappointed. ... show more
