Description

An all-season tire, the Scorpion Verde All Season from Pirelli is designed for use on CUVs and SUVs. Built with an optimized profile and enhanced materials that lower rolling resistance to reduce fuel consumption and CO2 emissions, the Scorpion Verde All Season's large contact patch puts more rubber on the road for strong traction and handling performance in dry, wet, and light winter weather conditions.

  • Decent performance, low tread life
The tires have performed well in dry, rain, and snow for about 4 years. So maybe I should be content. However, we only average about 9000 miles per year on this car so they now have 35000 miles on them and they need to be replaced. My biggest gripe isn't that they haven't last as long as they should have (I rotate regularly and they have even wear) but that there is now rubber coming off in chunks! I could possibly push them to last through this winter since they aren't all the way to the wear bars but I can't trust the tires to not leave my wife stranded on the side of the road, or worse, cause a wreck because they fail. I'm going to replace them with the Bridgestone Alenza AS Ultra. ... show more
