We all know kids aren't exactly gentle, but we had no bags bust/explode and I just cut the very tip off. Worked like a charm, and I have plenty left over for next time. I absolutely love these! I run a bakery and go through a significant number of these daily. They are strong enough for both buttercream and royal icing. The lines on the bags are also prominent enough to match up so you can cut perfectly to use these as tipless bags as well.
