Classic HDJ-X5 performance now with added Bluetooth! It's up to you to decide if fifty bucks is worth the price for a battery and Bluetooth 4.2, but I will say that these headphones are as sturdy as the standard version. The white version looks incredible with the plastic pieces being glossy white. The Bluetooth functionality is seamless.     • The most uncomfortable headphones ever made!!!!
I've had these headphone a little over a year now, and I have so many mixed feelings about them, that I'm writing my first ever review..... Pros: - Good quality when used with your mixer. The lows could use a bit of extra oomph, but overall they really arn't as bad as most people make them out to be. - Portable. They do that cool flippy thing. - That's it Cons: - The absolute most uncomfortable headphones I've ever worn. I bought these headphones because of a youtube review from a very reputable guy. He explicitly said he did a CA -> NY flight and didn't feel any discomfort. I did the same flight (2 days after purchase) and within 15mins my ears felt like they were falling off. I had LITERAL CHAFFING MARKS after 25mins, and I eventually had to just rest them on my head and listen to music that way. it's pretty unnoticeable while DJing as I'm usually only using them mixing in/out. That's about a minute MAX; and it feels like Pioneer knows that and has timed it perfect, because any longer and you start to feel pain. Even worse there really isn't any headphone pad replacements on the market for these, so you're pretty SOL on trying to resolve the issue. It honestly blows my mind they released headphone this outrageously uncomfortable. - HORRIBLE bluetooth quality. I have $15 headphone that blow these out of the water!!! I know these headphone are *only* $150, but that definitely puts it into the medium-high-entry tier headphone category. For that much they should at the very least beat my off-brand $15 headphone, and they don't. I had to purchase a EarStudio ES100 ( I HIGHLY suggest this for any audiophile btw), just to get them halfway decent quality. - VERY Low volume when used with bluetooth. I think my Iphone speakers are louder than these are without my headphone amp..... All in all, I think these are okay-good djing headphone. But I purchased these because I thought they would be a good entry level, multi-use headphones. Unfortunately they do not live up to anything I expected. For anyone looking to buy these there are much better headphone on the market. Instead of buying these for muli-use, I would buy 2 different headphones. 1 for Djing and another for bluetooth use. ... show more

I am a DJ for over 15 years and these are quality headphones, but not for me, for DJing. I prefer something lighter and more comfortable. These have a great deal to your head, but are heavy for long use and a bit cumbersome. They seem as if they would last for a while. Beyond Amazing Headphones very comfy to wear for all day use I wear them when I'm doing construction they are great for cutting out the noise connections are great syncs everytime with phone or tablet no problem mid range price for top of line product!

    • BROKEN ....in multiple ways
The direct connect to the turntable had static. And only played in the night ear They taking it off the third time and the arm snapped and fell to pieces.. Highly disappointed.
