I need a bridesmaid dress for a wedding in June and the bride, being frugal, insisted that the bridesmaids buy their dresses from Amazon or elsewhere rather than spending a small fortune at a bridal shop. She just asked us to stick to basically the same color (sage green). This is nearly identical to a dress I tried on at a bridal store for $180 (not including alterations). This is my first experience buying a formal dress from Amazon so I wasn't sure what to expect. I am happy to say that this exceeded my expectations. This was actually the third dress I bought from Amazon but sent the other two back. This is also one of the few dresses that shipped via Prime and came within a week with no additional shipping charge. The dress sizing is accurate. The hem on both the underskirt and the chiffon overlay are finished edges and rather nicely done. The dress was too long on me (I'm 5'5" and wearing a 2" heel), so I did need to have it shortened which I had done by a professional seamstress for $48. What I like most about this dress is that I can wear it either off- or on-the-shoulder and it looks beautiful either way. Even wearing it on the shoulder you still have a bit of sleeve to cover your upper arms (which is why I bought it... I don't like to show my arms). The waist can be pulled up a bit, too (empire) or sit at your natural waistline. Because there is an underskirt which is NOT see-through, I will feel confident not having to wear a slip (it's a June wedding so no telling how warm it will be). And did I mention how comfortable it is?! Overall, I am 100% happy with this dress and would absolutely recommend it. ... show more

Got dress for sisters wedding. It is perfect! Fit was great... very comfortable and flows with movement. But great design that you can use it casually for a night out or add some bling to bring it uo a notch for ceremonies. Will wear this for more than one event!! And PS... the Grey color is a beautiful elegant color. More looks like a lavender grey!!! Love ... show more

The reviews were great so I ordered it. It doesn't look good on me. I look like a giant marshmallow. I'm broader shouldered, average tatas, short wide waist. Thx to perimenapause, I've lost my waist. I was in between sizes on the chart so I went with a size bigger. Wish I would have went a size smaller. Took me too long to return it and returns are a hassle for me as Im 100miles away from a ups drop off point and ita not worth a special trip. While the front band is not stretchy, the back is. The length is too long for my 5'4 stature but at this point in life, I expect that. The quality of the dress is very nice. It's not see thru. It's a lovely dress. Simply not for me ... show more

This dress turned out great! I first ordered the black version in a size up because I wasn’t sure about fit, but it’s true to size. So I reordered the same dress in a smaller size and different color and it was perfect. I could’ve probably gone down 2 sizes. Since the back is ruched it can stretch comfortably if needed and the ruffles cover the ruching which I think makes it look more “expensive”. It’s not see through, perfect color, perfect fit. Wish it was a little longer but I’m 6’0ft so most long dresses are shorter on me than most. Also, you need a steamer because it does come pretty wrinkled. Otherwise - I think this dress would be flattering on any body type! ... show more

I absolutely love this dress! I’ve had such a hard time dressing my postpartum body. My hubby and I had a formal event and this dress was perfect! I’m currently in between an 18-20 so I ordered the 20 and it fit perfect! For the price, this dress was definitely worth the purchase!

I love the sheerness and length of this dress. The holes under the arm are large, dress was supposed to be off the shoulders and the dress was way too tight around the waist. Very disappointed.
