I am 5'7 and 290ish (with a more muscular build; I'm typically a 20, sometimes 22 in jeans). I bought this dress in a 22 and it is PERFECT. WAIST: Tip: Measure your "waist" where you think the dress' waistband will hit you. The waist band is not at all stretchy or forgiving. The 22 is a tad too big for me, but that's an easy fix; just tie the bow tighter! ARMS: I also have JUICY arms and was worried about the sleeves, but the lace is suuuuuper stretchy. It fits over my arms nicely, but it's not too tight and I don't feel like I'm in danger of ripping anything. BUST I'm a 42C. I tried the dress on while wearing a basic sports bra and had a bit of room in the bust of the dress, but if I wear a bra with structure or a push-up, the bust is going to be fantastic! LENGTH: It hits just below my knees (but it's not too long. I hate tea-length and midi-length. This is nowhere close to that.) WEIRD PART: The tie around the waist... It's not, like, one long ribbon fed through loops (ie: the position of the ribbon is not adjustable). It's two pieces sewn on either side of the dress. Thankfully, the waistband hits me in the most flattering spot, but some people may be disappointed to find they can't move the ribbon. Also, the ribbons are not long enough to tie around your body (ie: if I tied them back, criss crossed, then brought them to the front, I'd just have enough to make a knot. You're stuck either tying the ribbons back and making a bow on your back, or bringing both pieces forward if you want a full bow in the front as pictured.) BONUS THAT PROBABLY ONLY I CARE ABOUT: I bought this dress (in blue!) for graduation. (Finding a dress for a master's graduation in December for a grown adult woman was... challenging.) The dress is completely hidden under my gown (both at the top and at the bottom/hem) and when my gown is unzipped, the blue pops so beautifully! The nipped-in waist of the dress adds shape and I think it's going to make for some really cute unzipped gown pics! Also, the tone of the blue in this dress compliments the tones of the blues in my tassle and hood, and it's a nearly exact match for the dark blue portions. I'm really excited to wear this dress. It makes me feel really pretty, and, as vain as it sounds, I know it's going to look GREAT in photos!

LOVE LOVE LOVE this dress! It fits perfectly. The top and underbust are both stretchy but don't look so and the skirt is soft and flowy. Comfortable. Very feminine and flattering. I haven't felt this pretty in a long time.

This is a nice dress! I got loads of compliments on it at my event. The teal color is very nice. It's quite low-cut, so watch out that you have a plunge bra to go with it. The sleeves, waist, and torso all fit very well-- it's not weirdly proportioned like some cheap dresses. My only complaint is that the lace snags pretty easily and the skirt wrinkles if you look at it too hard. If you're taking this in a suitcase, a garment steamer is non-optional. Expect to spend some time on it.

Ordered this dress for my mom for my wedding. It’s a flattering dress and true to size. It’s lightweight and comfortable. Easy to wash and take care of. The color is a gorgeous shade of purple. I’d say it was worth the money!

This dress is absolutely beautiful—great fabric, flattering fit, and perfect for a cocktail event. However, as someone who's well-endowed up top, I found it to be a bit too low-cut for comfort. It just didn’t offer the coverage I needed and felt like I was constantly adjusting it. If you’re not as busty, it’s a stunning option and will probably fit just right. For me, I’ll be keeping an eye out for something with a little more support or coverage in the chest area.

I had purchased this dress for my boyfriend's funeral (depressing I know). In his culture, the immediate family wears all white to represent purity. I ordered several dresses to rush ship online to get here in time because I don't wear all white, ever, and I was nervous not having enough variety to chose from, hence being stuck with nothing to wear or something very unflattering and last resort-ish. This dress made me feel human on the worst day of my life. It was comfortable, flowy and the size was perfect. I kept getting told how beautiful I looked and had many compliments on the dress. It was a nice thing to hear when your life seemed completely over. His family's culture is also to snap pictures of everything, and I mean everything on any occasion, even at funerals. So I can honestly say that and it really was a lovely dress looking at the pictures, and people weren't just blowing smoke up my ass. I had one less thing to worry about once I tried this on. It was over a year ago, but I still remember putting it on and how relieved I felt like it was just yesterday!

My hopes were moderate for this dress. But it was way better than expected. It came in a very small bag. And I was concerned that the out Amazon bag was attached to the inner plastic bag containing the dress. But they managed not to get the dress in the mess. The dress fit great. I chose my actual size and I am happy I did. If I had sized up, my chest would have been showing the whole time. It came very wrinkled and 1 string of thread hanging by the zipper top. I always wash clothing before wearing. Used my delicate cycle with Woolite and had no issues with fraying or damages from washing. I let hang dry. Then I used a garment steamer to get the wrinkles out. The wrinkles came out easily. The color was nice. Less burgundy and more maroon to me. I really didn't see the note of the purple in burgundy. I purchased my husband a burgundy shirt to match for a wedding and his had more of the purple, but still looked very close. The dress was very comfortable and light. My only issue is that the low cut is fine standing up. But sitting down the low cut front would open a bit. I used a safety pin to keep it from opening up. And had no issues with damages to the dress. I am 5''1 3/4, weigh 134lb, and am a 40DD. The dress came a little below my knees. And everything fit well. I carry my weight in my belly and feel this dress did a good job fitting my body shape and size.
