You might want to get additional padding to protect the table below. It did come with padding, my husband thought it was too thin, and I'm not sure. Otherwise it's nice looking, love the blue color and seems like it'll be great. we just need to move a few (whole bunch) things out of the way around the table so we can start playing! ... show more

I have a nine foot pool table. I bought this to use as a dining top for my pool table primarily, and double as a ping pong table. It will work well as a dining top. I think when I read the description, I thought it was meant for a nine foot pool table, not that it was nine feet long, and five feet wide. This is my mistake, as I've never thought to use my pool table as a dining table until moving into the current home. However, I believe it needs to be stated in the description "You will never be able to use the included net if you have a nine foot pool table. The clamp will have nowhere to be, since your rails will encroach upon it or vice versa." That being said, I will use it as a dining top this Thanksgiving. The surface is about four inches short on the long side and two inches short on the short side. I will find a net that will work with it, eventually. Ping pong was just a side effect of this purchase for me. I am rating it three stars because it's not their fault I didn't measure, but it is their fault the net will never work on a nine foot pool table. ... show more
