Assembly: Unfortunately this is where I had to dock my star - one of the bars did not have the hole drilled in it. I have a drill and the proper sized bit, but if you don’t, you may be in for a rough set up, especially with a toddler climbing about. Size: this is the perfect size for my 18 month old. He can climb it easily and not be too far off the ground at any given point. But it’s also sturdy enough to not move when my 7 year old decides she needs a turn. Color: I like the bright colors! One of the things with a lot of these type of sets is that the wood is unsealed, which I’m sure is appealing to some people due to the lack of chemicals but my children are sticky and unstained wood doesn’t stand a chance, so I’m a much bigger fan of the sealed wood sets.

I have been looking for a climbing toy for my kids for a while now. I found this and ordered it in hopes that it would be a great indoor activity for them during the rain. Well, it was easy to assemble and even included a small screwdriver. My kids absolutely love using it. However, the only reason I am deducting a star is because when opening the box, I almost passed out from the smell that hit my nose. I don't know what this box went through, but the cushion and the box smelled like a rotten fish. I threw both immediately, but the smell lingered a bit in the house.
