The best replacement for breastfed babies!
Color: 0m+, SS, 4 counts
Pattern Name: 3rd Generation
The media could not be loaded. I spent the first three months of my son’s life SO frustrated that the Lansinoh nipples are ergonomically great for breastfed babies, but even the slow flow is way too fast. My son mostly nursed, but we had to get him prepared for daycare by practicing with bottles, and
his spit up was horrible - he’s lose *ounces* of milk each time, even with really rigorous pace-feeding. Once at daycare, they simply can’t spend 45 minutes pace-feeding him themselves when they have 7 other babies to deal with, so his spit up was rampant. I was ready to get rid of the Lansinoh bottles and started researching what other brands would work when I came across Pigeon for the first time. When I saw that the nipples were compatible with Lansinoh bottles, I immediately bought a bunch of the SS and have been thrilled with the results! The quality is great and I have no issues with seal or leaks. As you can see from the video (Lansinoh S on the left, Pigeon SS on the right), the different in flow is huge. He’s still able to get milk out without struggling, but it’s at HIS speed instead of getting fire-hosed. The first day using them at daycare, his teachers were amazed — one tiny spit up instead of huge puddles all day long. He went from taking maybe 5-10 min to drink his bottles to more like 20-30 min, which is such a relief. He spends that long, if not longer, when nursing, so finally having those two experiences aligned is a huge improvement and he feels much better. SO excited about this and haven’t stopped telling anyone who’ll listen!

Compatible with NanoBebe Bottles: Great for deep latch for breastfed babies!
Color: 6m+, L, 4 counts
Pattern Name: 3rd Generation
My breastfeeding baby didn't take the Dr. Brown or Comotomo bottles. He was inconsistent with the Philip anti-colic bottles but with the recent lawsuits coming into light about the passing of microplastics I researched and looked into other bottles and finally settled on these Pigeon nipples. Almost
all of the lactation consultant videos and research I saw recommended a triangular/sloped nipple shape as it promotes a deeper latch that is similar to when the baby is breastfeeding. These are compatible with the nanobebe silicone bottles which were perfect because I wanted to avoid plastic (and glass bottles aren't allowed in his daycare). He took them IMMEDIATELY! So glad I found these!!! FYI he is 5mo and took the size L (recommended as 6mo+) fine! However, I do have a fast letdown and flow!

Great for protecting Breastfeeding mommas
Color: 0m+, SS, 4 counts
Pattern Name: 3rd Generation
Breastfeeding is super important to me so I appreciate how slow the flow is and that it's an optimal shape to prevent nipple confusion/flow rate preferences with bottle feeding.

Best breastfeeding nipples on the market!
Color: 1m+, S, 4 counts
Pattern Name: 3rd Generation
These are great nipples for bottle feeding a breast-fed baby. Every lactation consultant I know recommends these nipples. And I can see why. They come in a SS and a S speed, and both are slower than a Lansinoh S. But otherwise, these nipples are almost identical to Lansinoh nipples. Just like Lansino
h nipples, these nipples are shaped in a way that encourages a deeper latch, just like on the breast. On a side note: I found these nipples to be great at teaching a newborn baby how to better latch onto the breast. But maybe that was just our own personal experience. We used these a lot in the early days, to help establish the breastfeeding relationship. These nipples are also easy to use. I’ve never experienced nipple collapse with these nipples, and they are easy to clean. They are a bit on the pricey side, but I think they are worth the money.

Good intermediate for Chicco bottles
Color: 1m+, S, 4 counts
Pattern Name: 3rd Generation
We have the Chicco hybrid bottles and the size 1 nipple was too slow, size 2 was way too fast for our 6 week old. These are the perfect intermediate and her latch is perfect. No clicking or leakage. A bit expensive but great quality.

Good slow flow option for breastfeeding
Color: 0m+, SS, 4 counts
Pattern Name: 3rd Generation
I got these on the recommendation from my lactation specialist. The latch line (wavy line) helps you know how far to have the bottle in baby’s mouth. I’ve been using these with my lansinoh and spectra bottles and they fit well, but the base is slightly thicker so they can leak slightly if they are no
t tightened correctly. When I put them in the dishwasher to sanitize and wash them, they discolored slightly as shown in the picture. It hasn’t seemed to affect the quality of the rubber, but is something to note. All in all a great option because most nipples don’t come with a premie flow and their smallest sizes usually are too much for breastfed newborns.
