Short of going off the deep end buying super expensive cables I'm switching my cables to Pig Hog. These are well-built, sturdy cables and the XLR connectors are solid and don't make me question their durablity and ability to withstand the abuse of the studio and stage.     • Very well built and improved my sound
I'd been having problems with my microphone "popping" while using it through the PA system. Just a few loud "pops" that were very detrimental to a good performance. I went through everything I could think of to make it stop, but my efforts did nothing. I pulled the mic apart, resoldered the connections, tried different mics, took the compressor out of the equation, etc. I did a LOT of online research as well, and one reference mentioned that using an inexpensive (OK, "Cheap") XLR cord will cause this. I got a great deal on a 6 pack of XLR cords, which seemed to work OK. But that was it: I swapped out with this cord and the problem stopped. They are built MUCH better than any of my other XLR's, and obviously make solid connection. It's been working well for me since I integrated it into my system, and I have no plans to change to anything else. Maybe you don't have the issues that I did, but with these cords- it's VERY unlikely you will. VERY satisfied. I recommended these to my son, also a musician.
