It should almost be under Children's Encyclopedia tag - all things people should know about pugs - curly tail, snorting, rolling in mud, and eat a lot. The illustrations are adorable! I tend to expect too much from children's books, and this one is not a masterpiece, but it keeps my kids' (4 and 5y old) attention well. I purchased this book as a gift for a friend's child who loves animals and I was so surprised by how cute it was! This is a story of an unlikely friendship between Pig and Pug. This book is adorable. My Grandsons favorite thing is his stuffed pig and I have a pug so it was perfect. Love the story of being friends besides differences and finding things in common.
