This oatmeal base is creamy and nice to use. Also it melts easily and takes color and scents well. The oatmeal pieces sink to the bottom of the mold but that is not a huge problem for me. I have filled silicone molds half way with the hot soap base and stirred it so that the oatmeal does not sink to the bottom. Decided to make my first breastmilk soap and used this oatmeal base option. It melted quick and easy. I did get bubbles though which I read meant I over heated it a bit but honestly I think its cause I poured it too quickly and it caught air. So maybe don’t do that lol. But it worked great. Cut into very small pieces and heat on 3-5s intervals if you use a microwave. I had a hard time keeping the temp right. I have used other melt and pour soaps that had a much larger range, this one overheats very quickly. One 25s interval boiled the smallest bits but didn't melt enough to be able to stir. Lots of goopy globby soap. I did expect some visible oatmeal pieces and this base was just white, so I added some pulverized oats after I melted and they suspended nicely and added to the look I wanted. It does lather nicely and feel good but I will be trying another brand to gauge oatmeal melt and pour ease of use. ... show more

the one thing i didn't like about this soap base was the oatmeal sinks to the bottom, it's not a suspension soap base which makes the final product a bit unappealing to me with a dark line of oatmeal at the bottom of all my bars, otherwise it was a pretty nice base. i'll probably try others of this brand but definitely won't be getting any of the oatmeal base or anything else that will sink to the bottom again ... show more
