I’ve used this exact soap base numerous times over the past few years and have been delighted with the results. But this last order was gloopy when melted and poured and it does not lather much at all. I’ve searched Amazon to find an avenue to get help with this issue but cannot find anything as my time to return has past. I’m hesitant to order again. I started making my own melt and pour soaps about a year or so ago after having melanoma and learning all the crap there is in our soaps and skincare. I've grown and dried my own healing herbs since then and learned how to use them including soaps and essential oils. I use this base. It does awesome, but don't add too too many oils or it won't set up and won't cure well. 😉 it has helped the appearance of my melanoma surgical scar (front of neck) on a matter of short time! I have ordered this soap base for several years and have always been satisfied and never had any trouble with it. This batch did not melt properly and as you can see in the pictures started becoming "gloopy" instantly. I did nothing different, but it did not turn out well this time at all. It also came in one 5lb block instead of 1 lb blocks as it has in the past. It is much easier to use the 1 lb blocks. I'm very disappointed and would really like to know if they changed something or had a bad batch. ... show more

I really like the soap I order it all the time but the soap always came and individual cubes. My last order the soap came in one whole block. I really don't like it package that way. I rather have my individual cubes.

I have purchased this soap before and was absolutely 💯 happy with it, this order I am not it didn't melt down like the other did and when washing my pans no "bubbles" it did not lather up at all😔not sure how it's going to work bathing. Most likely will not be purchasing this again. My first order was 5-1lb blocks this was 1 big block. No a happy camper! ... show more

🌟First time soap maker here! 🙋🏽♀️ Let me start by saying... I LOVE THIS SOAP! 😍 It smells divine... like baby soap. I made a turmeric and ginger soap and added some yellow pigment and gold glitter to it. It looks great, lathers well, and my hands (so far the only part of my body that I have used it on) feel very clean. It melted easily; I melted it in a pot and it only took a few minutes. It set within the hour to use for testing purposes (and because I was being extremely impatient 🤤) and a few hours to use for the bath. It yielded 6 half bars for me, using 1Lb and filling the molds half way. The reason I gave it 4 stars is for 2 reasons: * I used about 50 drops of lemongrass essential oil and it still smells like goats milk! Now again, I really love the way the soap smells. But I don’t like wasting my oils! I mean... nothing! * It sets pretty damn fast. Which, can be great. Especially if you need to make some soaps in a hurry. But it also makes it a bit harder to work with. Especially for a newbie like me. 😉 Overall I recommend this soap. I will be trying other options from this company for my soap making business. ... show more
