I am writing this on 08/03/2021. I ordered this 01/10/2020. I have used it to smoke meat before cooking it on the skillet, fruit, cheeses, and cocktails. I have had really good results, and zero mechanical issues with this thing! It is compact, it really produces a lot of smoke, and it works and works. I also ordered Camerons Wood Smoking Chips Variety Gift Set - Set of 8 Pints of Extra Fine Cut Sawdust to use with this, since it did not come with chips. Very happy with the combo. I was worried about this, as it is so much lower in cost then some of the big name guns, but trusted some of the reviews I read. I am glad I saved some dough! I have to give this little gem a whole five stars! It is brilliant. Compact, well built, a nice little storage box. Runs on batteries- takes practically no counter space and- IT DOES WHAT IT CLAIMS TO DO! I made some nice sous vide steaks then used this and some hickory slivers to smoke them in the house. My house did not get full of smoke and set off the alarm and the food was perfect. A nice, overall scent of smoke without being overpowering. Great price, too. My new portable smoke infuser by Piccalo is illustrious. Its design had me impressed upon unboxing. It’s ease of use is second to none, and got right into giving it a trial run. So far I have enjoyed a tall glass of bourbon infused with a light smoky hickory flavor thanks to this new device. I'm a bartender that works in a high pace restaurant and also private events. I use this for several various craft cocktails. I have used different style smokers but this one has been by far the best!
