I was skeptical, I've used down comforters for many years in the winter, & wondered just how this comforter would stack up, but I'm actually very happy with it. It's well-constructed, a very smooth & noiseless fabric, & for me, the fill weight is just right. I'm sure you know that down comforters come in various fill levels- some are "arctic weight" while others are whisper light. This comforter compares to a down comforter that is somewhere in the middle. I think it's physically a little heavier than my down comforter, but not by much, & it's very comfortable. I especially like the box stitching too- it not only looks good, but it keeps the "one-piece" insulation from shifting. For the sake of comparison, I happen to have another comforter that also has "one-piece" fill, but it's only top-stitched in a few places, & when you sit on the bed, you can feel the layers weirdly sliding underneath you. I believe that in time, with repeated washings, the box-stitching will easily prove to be the far better choice- there's nothing like a heavy-duty wash cycle to shift the fill. A microfiber comforter also has some advantages over real down: it's non-allergenic & has no down escaping, it's animal-friendly (for those object to animal products), & it should dry a whole lot easier than a down comforter (for those which are actually "washable"). I'm happy to see this comes with an OEKO-TEX safety rating too- I care a lot about what I put in my home. One thing I hesitated about was the color gray- I've never been a fan, but I'm warming up to it's neutrality. I'm currently using my deep red & light blue-gray plaid flannel sheets & they look great with this comforter. I'm holding off using the pillow shams until warmer weather- I do love my flannel sheets, pillow cases included. All in all, this is a very nice comforter that I can recommend.

The media could not be loaded. Keeps your body at the perfect temperature. Love that it’s white it lightens my whole room. I have had it for a few months now, and I’m so happy that it’s not a product that gets dirty fast, or picks up stains quickly. Haven’t seen any fading in colors, rips, or tears. I used this all winter, and now I’m going to use it all summer.
