I purchased these so I wouldn't have to constantly search around for appropriately-sized boxes for Christmas gifts. I've survived on scavenging for years, but I figured just purchasing appropriately-sized boxes would be better. It definitely was; I was able to use these for more than half of all gifts given this year. Since they are all the same size, it has the additional benefit of making wrapping easy, since you use the same format for each gift. Multiple recipients decided to keep the boxes so they can re-use them for their own gifting purposes. Easy to fold, certainly sturdy enough for a gift box. The only things I don't like is [a] the seams are a bit thin at places - sufficient for a gift box but maybe not robust for other purposes, and [b] the way it folds, there are little cardboard tabs which protrude a bit from the edges of the box, so you cannot get perfectly smooth wrapped edges. If you use a heavier paper, this isn't really an issue, though. So would recommend for most one-time shipping/gifting purposes. ... show more

Dimension is not 12 inches. I have a 12x9x4 mailer box and this measures 1/2 an inch less. It’s a decent product, not sure why the false advertising but know that you’re not getting a 12 inch box. *Update* I really wanted to like these boxes. I would not recommend these for shipping. It was literally torn when I took it out of the box, these should not rip so easily. If you’re just using it for hand delivered gifts they are decent but I wouldn’t dare ship items in these. ... show more

Had a lot of bills stacking up all over the place wherever I decide to fling 'em or, lay them down at. Was tired of sorting through them all, per company so, I ordered the boxes and I can finally sort them chronologically. I try to keep all bills paid, 3 years back, was 5 but, that was just too many and also creates a fire hazard. Marks-a-Lot markers labels the box long with date/year so, I'm good to go now. Boxes are sturdy and very easy to assemble. They are great for shipping and for other uses as well. For example, they are excellent for storing an annual accumulation of receipts and statements for utilitiy bills, tax receipts, household expenses, credit card statements, insurance payments, bank statements...etc. They basically are compact and efficient storage boxes. You can purchase either the three inch or four inch deep boxes depending on your personal requirement.
