Just like all Amazon bearings you want to grease them prior to use. These actually had a small amount of grease in them already surprisingly. They spin OK, no grit and pretty smooth. I'll update when they fall apart.

Great bearing for the money. I'm using them on wheelchairs. Not sure I would put them on a motor that was running 24-7.

I use them on a trike and have side load and impact from the road. I dont see any problems with them at all. I had them about a week. I hit some potholes and have 2 bears per tire at about 80lbs per tire. But when I hit a pot hole the load is pretty high. My other bearings were destroyed. These are perfect.
