It's not egregiously noticeable but there is a stark difference between the newly sprayed areas. I would suggest this product for anyone trying to recover or spruce up the look of your lawn or shrubbery. If you're using it near other things use a drop cloth.

Definitely wear gloves because this stains everything! 2 days after spraying, my dog walked in grass and he had green on his paws. This was a very messy venture and luckily I had an old spray bottle that I transferred remaining product in after their sprayer stopped working. I'll give it a 4 out of 10 for coverage of dead grass I had, but the jury is still out on how long it last as I just used it 5 days ago. Not sure if I'll buy again just because of how messy it was and sprayer that comes with it really sucks!

Really wish I had taken before and after pictures. A bad winter really did a number on our boxwoods. They will grow back but in the meantime, the dead branches look awful. Even if I were to replace, because everyone needs landscape help, I’d still be looking at really sad looking bushes for the summer. I figured for under $20, I’d give this dye a shot. With the first spray, I knew that I had a winner. I sprayed all of my boxwoods and there is still enough dye left for another two rounds, but the dye has stood up to several hard rains over the past 10 days so I doubt that another application will be necessary. The dye did get all over my hands but came off with a nail brush and soap.

It worked, not much more to say than that. Painted my grass. I had no trouble with the spray bottle, it certainly does drip so I would suggest wearing gloves when using it and watch any dripping on clothing. Did wash off my hands though. I put it on one day, it faded quite a bit by the next day, but there was some rain so reapplied. Does the trick. Up close you can tell, but from a sidewalk or street, looks fine. I had two spots in my front yard that had some burnout from an accidental RoundUp misfire. So used this to cover that up. From the street you can't even tell. I think this would be fine for small spots, but if you have a large area I wouldn't recommend this.
