I’ve been very pleased with this tracker! I have two Fi trackers on two of my dogs, and got this for my third dog. It does a great job monitoring activity levels, and the location is accurate. I love how easy it is to set up and attach to the collar, and especially love that it can be attached to ANY collar! Battery life has been excellent. And the price point (for purchase and subscription both) can’t be beat. It is a little bulky (but still lightweight enough) for my small dog. The app is somewhat difficult to navigate, but maybe I’m just old. I don’t love that there isn’t a live view of location — you have to load the page that shows their location, and it takes a while to load, although that could be due to a weak signal in my area. Overall, it’s a great product and works as advertised, and for the price it is EXCELLENT. If you’re looking for a more affordable option, this is it!

I had been using an air tag on my dog's collar in case he got out of the house, but learned that this will not provide accurate enough results to find my dog if he is lost! I wanted to try something else but the up-front cost along with subscription fees of competing brands was very high and I had been looking for different options. I wanted something convenient and in trying to find options that did not have a subscription fee, I found some units that would work but I did not want to use a handheld GPS unit to connect with my dog's tracker-- that sounded like a pain. I am glad I settled on this tracker and I like it a lot. It has Velcro to fit on multiple sizes of collars and it is small and secure on the collar. It charges wirelessly on a little charging pad that comes with it. It is super easy and can charge through the Velcro which is helpful so I can just slip it back on his biothane collar (for his e-collar) and it's super easy. If it was a standard collar I think I would have to un-velcro it each time in order to charge it. The app is easy to use and see daily activity. The GPS tracker is a little slow to load (up to nearly a minute) but it is extremely accurate and gives me peace of mind that I can find my dog if he gets loose. And I don't need a handheld unit, just my phone, which I always have with me anyways. There are some community features like showing common dog names etc. but I'd like to see more options there, possibly like most common places in my area where people walk and exercise their dogs. Overall, the app is very good. One snag was that when I first got the tracker (and admittedly did not read the directions right away), I downloaded the "petivity" app instead of the "petivity dog" and I was initially frustrated not being able to register my dog because "cat" was the only option. But customer service pointed out my mistake and I downloaded the correct app and had no issues. Who knew there were smart litter boxes for cats-- which is what the other app was for. If you are looking to try a tracker for your dog, this is a low-cost option that will give you peace-of-mind knowing you have an accurate way to find your dog if lost. And seeing their daily activity is helpful for a reminder to get myself in gear too, and do more walks!

I’ve been using this GPS dog tracker for a while now, and overall I’m really happy with it. The tracking is fairly accurate, although a bit slow to load at times, and gives me peace of mind when my dog is running around off-leash. The app is user-friendly and set up was very easy. The battery life is good, though I was told the connection was poor when in the house causing a shorter battery life. I do wish the tracker had the ability to set and safe zones, or like a Geo fence, so if your dog were to escape the yard, you would be notified. I also wish you did not have to activate the GPS when your dog went on walks. I often forgot to do this. Despite a couple of small drawbacks, this tracker does exactly what I need it to do. Definitely worth the purchase if you want reliable tracking without breaking the bank.

The Petivity Smart GPS and Activity Tracker has been a solid tool for keeping up with my dog’s location and daily activity. The live GPS tracking is accurate as long as there’s adequate cellular coverage, and it updates quickly, which gives me peace of mind. One issue I had was just make sure when using the GPS is that both you and your pet are not inside the house, otherwise it doesn't work good and it will remind you of that. The app is well-designed and provides personalized activity goals based on my dog’s needs, which has been useful for monitoring overall health and movement. The device itself is lightweight, durable, waterproof, and fits easily on any collar or harness. The battery life has also been impressive — getting up to 30 days between charges. There is a $9.99 monthly subscription required to access the data and GPS features, but considering what it offers, I feel it’s a fair cost. Really like this tracker and Activity monitor. It has the potential to be one of the best in the industry for what they charge. All trackers that have a SIM card will require a subscription of some kind. I see a number of negative reviews because of the subscription fee. All real GPS trackers have them. If it doesn't have a SIM card, it's using Bluetooth to connect which has a range of about 100 feet. This is a real GPS Global tracker using satellites that also tracks your dogs activity during the day. It works with all 3 major carriers and connects to the strongest network available for broad coverage. This product launched in Nov of 2025 and it's only getting better. It's a low entry point into the arena of trackers with a reasonable subscription fee. The app is simple and easy to use. The setup is incredibly easy. They also have decent support with an actual person you can talk to. When I got my first one, after a few days, it would not charge. Turns out the charger had something wrong with it. Within 5 days I had a new device and charger and they told me not to bother returning the old unit so now I have a backup. What I really like is you can deactivate your subscription and reactivate it any time using their web portal. Looked at a lot of trackers before trying this one. Happy with it so far and I am sure it will only get better. Check petivity.com as they are always running sales. I got mine for $27.00.

I’ve been using the Petivity tracker for just over 30 days now. As a puppy parent, the biggest win has been the activity tracking. It breaks down running, walking, playing, and—most importantly—resting. It’s been incredibly insightful to see if my pup is actually getting the sleep she needs. The Pros: Peace of Mind: Knowing I have a backup if she gets out is the main reason I bought it. Battery Life: I’ve only had to charge it once or twice this month, which is much better than other trackers I looked at. No Hidden Fees: You pay the subscription, but there’s no extra "activation fee" sneakily added on. Reliable Signal: It uses multiple cellular providers, so I haven't hit any "dead zones" yet. The Cons: Bulkiness: At roughly 2.3" x 1.3", it’s quite chunky. It looks a bit large on my dog’s collar. GPS Latency: When I actually tested the "Find My Dog" feature, it took over 8 minutes to pinpoint her location. In an emergency, 8 minutes feels like an eternity. App Interface: The home screen shows "Best Day" and "Average Day," but not Today. You have to click into a separate tab and then select the day just to see current progress. Most owners care about what’s happening right now, not a PR from three weeks ago. Verdict: It’s a solid entry-level tracker with great battery, but if you want something slimmer with faster GPS response and a more intuitive app, you might find better value in higher-priced upfront units.

I have be using this Petivity on my dog for 2 weeks and I really like it. It’s easy to setup, it provide information and insights about my dogs health activity’s (walks, steps, play, purest, puttering), all insights that I find useful. I love the peace of mind it provides, o can track my dog from anywhere with the data and GPS that it has, for instance I’m currently traveling and this tracker has been highly useful. I also like the features of adjusting target activities, it can evaluate your dog’s food, and it’s neat for just being on top your pet’s health. I recommend it!
