The cats love it. I put a litter box in the bottom and they all use it no problem. Huge space saver for my tiny bedroom. My only complaint is I had to get a small litter pan for the bottom. Larger pans are too big.

I’ve bought a lot of ikea like furniture over the years and this one was impressively easy to assemble & extremely well-designed. It came with every tool I needed to assemble it. I haven’t bought a small litter box for the bottom but that is ultimately the goal. Kitties love using the scratching posts and using it as a perch to look outside. I have nothing bad to say. You can tell the manufacturer put a lot of care into packing. All the hardware is laid out in a plastic tray, and it even comes with extra pieces. I purchased this item for two reasons: it holds the extra-large litter box my kitties use, and it’s a good rest/play area for my full-grown cats. The tortoiseshell kitty is 2 years old and 15 pounds (yes, I know, she’s my big baby). The orange gentleman is 10 years old and is about 10 pounds. This item has not budged when both of them are jumping/climbing on it. The instructions were clear and easy to understand. More importantly, all of the little nuts and bolts required to put this together came in a single neatly-divided plastic case, so no chance of missing items or broken pieces.
