Build Quality - 4/5 Instructions - 5/5 Ease of Assembly - 4/5 Value - 4.5/5 Cats' Opinion - 5/5 Overall - 4.5 We have a 2yo cat at 9lb and a 10yo at 12lb, both what I would consider an average size cat. This tower is definitely big enough for each, my 12lb cat can even curl up in the round basket, which I wasn't expecting. First off, our cats IMMEDIATELY took to this tower. During assembly, as soon as the first hammock was attached, our 2yo cat wandered in and immediately climbed into it. When the next layer was put on (the 4 sided hammock), she moved to it and stayed there, no exaggeration, the entire rest of assembly. Even with the slight shaking of the tower as we added parts and screwed them in, she was snug as a bug, napping away in her hammock. A few days later, both cats have spent plenty of time on it, I've seen them using every level except for the bottom hammock. The build quality was reasonably good. It's obvious faux fur instead of carpet but that's the norm nowadays. I don't feel as though it'll tip over or break down or anything. The holes in the faux fur where the bolts go in were (purposefully) melted around the edges, presumably so the holes don't widen. There were two holes that I had to stick the allen wrench into to clear the way for the bolts, but this took 2 seconds. Instructions were better than most I've seen, with clear pictures, and each part was labeled with a letter sticker for clarity. My 9yo sister could understand the instructions and do a lot of the assembly with a little help. The only parts she wasn't able to do was putting together the cube house, which probably took me 15 minutes, and the topmost level as she wasn't tall enough. Speaking of height, this thing is TALL. It's 5'8", which is taller than most cat trees I've seen. Even I had to actually use a step stool to do the final bolts on top of the top level. I think the height is great, my cats love being up high. Also, each level is spacious enough for bigger cats to use. This is not one of the cheap towers that are really only made for kittens. The only thing a bigger cat MIGHT not be able to use is the round basket. I find the value for this tree to be right on the mark. It's taller and has more surface area to climb on than other towers at this price point. -- little features -- The circular basket hammock can swivel 360°, which is great if you're looking for a tower with a small footprint, like I was. The back of the tower has a fabric strap, and the package includes an anchor screw to attach the strap to the wall and prevent the tower from falling. I didn't use this as it feels sturdy even as my cats jump on and off of it. The kit included one extra each of the two bolts used. The top level has an elastic removable cover with stuffed sides. It's easy to put on and remove and feels secure when in place. OVERALL, I definitely recommend this cat tree. ... show more

Had my fair share of cat towers over the years of owning many cats in my last 5 decades in this world. I got to admit this is one of the better towers for the price I have gotten in my life time. It is built really well. The wood feels nice and sturdy unlike some towers have had in past that feel like can break in half in ur hand. Not this wood. It’s pretty solid. Then they actually use metal bars at times to make some of the places the cats will lay and make that area even more sturdier and solid. Heck even the hardware like the screws are a better quality than I have seen in other towers. Like how the long double sides screws have texture in between the threading so that it bites into the level of wood that you place on it. U like others were it’s just smooth and it doesn’t get that bite into the wood like these do. And this is a big tower. I know they gave you the size on the site but you really don’t realize how tall or big this tower is till you get it together. Which was actually very easy cause like everything else they made the directions extremely easy to follow and all the pieces are labeled with a sticker. Only had 1 piece that was identical to some others that lost it sticker. But they directions and all were very easy to follow. Wasn’t just all printed on 1 small sheet ether. Yes it is a sheet that is folded up but you can open it and each page is clearly in decent size to read and understand. You just go step by step and all the many parts start to disappear until your done. They even give you a strap and a screw so you can secure the tower to the wall like you would a dresser or taller piece of furniture so it doesn’t topple on someone or a pet. Like that little safety feature as well since many towers don’t offer that either. All and all very happy with this tower. You can tell the company that made this obvious cares about the cats and their owners. Very good tower ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Highly recommended. Our cats love and use this tower as intended — they have enjoyed sleeping and playing on it much more than the previous towers we’ve had. I also like the light, creamy carpet color for in our bedroom. We have probably purchased about 4 cat towers over the years that have been fine but I was never happy with the layout — seems like the cats didn’t utilize the perches because they had to play leapfrog over occupied spots to get to the perch they wanted so there were spats and turf wars sometimes. This tower is perfectly designed. There is a cat sleeping right now in the middle hammock and one on the top perch asleep. That never happened on the old tower. They’ve also enjoyed playing with the hanging toys, catching on it and running up and down. We even put a bed on the bottom of the tower and one of our cats sleeps there every night. There is an anchor for the wall to help secure it — we haven’t done so yet as it seems sturdy for our medium size cats. My husband put a couple of weights on the bottom to secure it until we decide if we are going to need to anchor it. So far, there has been some vigorous playing and leaping and climbing and it has held up well. ... show more

Not happy with this cat tree. No directions with it. The top shelf/bed shipped with it, is incorrect sized part. The shelf/bed is not even wide enough to screw into the 2 supporting pillars. The distance between the holes drilled in the top shelf is too narrow to line up with any part of this cat tree. ... show more
