These were a big hit at our house. We got the size S for a 4-5yr old, and it was perfect size. For reference I have a size 11T Cat & Jack boys shoe in the pic. The smallest setting of the boot is about an 11T and you get a good 2+ sizes with the boot being extendable. I really appreciate that feature because kids feet grow so fast and being able to get a few sizes in one item is a good value. My kids are obsessed with the light up wheels. They are really fun, bright, and a nice added feature. The boots tie and also buckle, so you little ones feet are extra secure which is good for safety. No wobbly boots! The toe stop pad is generous so you'll easily get a few seasons depending on use. Overall, I am really happy with these skates and so are my kids! ... show more

Loved these skates for a few reasons and the main one is how they expand which will save you money. The kids loved using them which is always a plus and even though kids love the lighted wheels because they simply light up I love them because they light up and add to safety when it’s getting dark outside. I was so excited to find a pair of skates that aren't annoying neon children colors or excessively primary colors or just childish looking and I know this is for my 8. Year old? Son but he likes more simple looking things instead of gaudy gotti children's. Unfortunate attire so that automatically gets points. It's very easily adjusted with the tools and snaps in easily once your feet are in there. The brakes on the front are pretty good. They could probably be a little bigger but you get used to it.
