With 8 different styles (not just color differences) I’s important to read the fine print just below the title of each review so you know which style the reviewer is talking about. Otherwise you may hear good or bad things that don’t even apply to the style you want. So to be clear, I am reviewing color C, the black double-breasted shirt with the red piping. I bought from this company because I have never seen that style anywhere else. But the second reason I bought is the price, I thought they had made a mistake to be selling a restaurant quality shirt WITH custom embroidery, for under sixteen dollars. This is not a costume, folks, this is a high quality shirt that can actually be worn to work. Part of it is an open mesh to keep you cool in a hot kitchen and the rest of it is a smooth satiny material that spills easily wipe off. When I looked at other brands they only offered the embroidery in a few colors and only about four type fonts, all of them with block letters. To go with other parts of my outfit it was important that the lettering be in a flowing script font, and these people have that. This one offers seven fonts, four of them cursive. The quality of their work is superb, every stitch in place and not one error. The located it at just the right location too, not all custom shops do that. I chose gold lettering on a black shirt with red piping and it looks like a hundred dollar shirt. I am very pleased. OH OH I won’t deduct any points for this but this company has to update their ad because the photos for this style show it coming with a red sash and big Captain Kangaroo pockets below the belt. No, this is a traditional double breasted shirt, something like a pea coat. If you’re expecting the sash and pockets you will be disappointed. FIT The fit is perfect. I bought one size up and they designed this for a slim body so if you’re a little larger around the middle you might also try going one size up, but every person is different so do what works best for you. YES NO MAYBE One more detail, the black chrome buttons are super classy. This shirt took a little longer than they quoted but still faster than a lot of custom item I order. That is not a problem, just something you should know if you’re getting it as a gift. Something like this can’t get to you overnight. For me this is a yes and I will be back to get more – as long as they don’t raise the price.

I had purchased a chef coat a few months ago from a different vendor and although it was good, it was long sleeved, too big and too thick. This one from this vendor is absolutelyperfect! It is true to size (3x) and the thinner material is definitely a plus when working in a hot kitchen! Very cool and comfortable! I will definitely buy more in different colors! The bonus? They spelled my name exactly as it was given and it is legible!
