Smelling this from the bottle, it is very light, airy, and powdery white musk. I smell the same when I rolled it on a napkin (I am prone to fragrance induced headaches. So, spraying on paper and rolling on napkins is something I always do before trying directly on my skin). This did not induce a headache, and so I tried it on my wrist and the fragrance does not morph. Thus, I find the name to be misleading - sex musk. This is a musk, but it is not a sex musk IMO. To me, the way this smells in the bottle to on the skin and several hours later is all the same. I do not smell the layers/fragrance notes it proposes on the box: Top: - Timur Nepal (not sure what that smells like) - Rose (I do not get rose from this) - Jasmine (I smell some) Mid: - Orris (not sure) - Tonka bean (I dont smell tonka) - Vanilla infusion (maybe but very mild) Dry - Patchouli (some, but it’s mild, not pungent) - Musk (YES, a white musk) - Amber (not really) This is not something I would typically wear alone, but it is perfect for layering. For example, I could see this being combined with something woody, perhaps sandalwood (the creamy, prayer bead sandalwood, not the pickly Santal) and/or with something gourmand, like a dry, not too sweet vanilla or perhaps marshmallow. For a more feminine note, I could see this being layered with a floral - like violet or lavender. On the other end of the spectrum, this could be combined with amber, which would invoke a sense of the early 20th century. And for something a little more refreshing, it could be combined with bergamot. This list is not exhaustive; it presents just a few ideas that I tested out with some of the oils I have at hand. Something to consider when purchasing any fragrance is the sillage, projection and longevity. The sillage and projection of this are moderate to high. I barely put any on my wrist and it can be smelled by those around me easily, and it leaves a trail behind me as I walk. AND the longevity is crazy! I rolled some on a napkin when it arrived 5 days ago and I can still smell it almost as strongly as when I first applied it. Overall, I am happy I ordered this product. - Given the sillage, projection and longevity, it seems to be a high quality and well made product. I am curious to try their other perfume oils. - As the perfect base to combine with other fragrances, I find the possibilities exciting and intriguing. - The only thing I won’t do is wear it alone and for that I deducted 1 star. This is made in the USA and Cyklar is based in Los Angeles. Scent: Cedar Supreme
I've found my new scent! I'm in love with this and I'm so happy about it. The first few seconds it smelled way to sweet like vanilla, then the cedar came forward. I'm very picky and have only found a few scents that work for me in over 30 years. Love it so much!

It smells fine I’m not sure if the longevity and projection is as good as it cost. I definitely was shocked by how earthy it turned out. And also how small it was. It smells good but I would like if there were more product being offered as you can literally hold it in the palm of your hand. In my opinion it’s not worth 24 maybe 10-16 at most. I ordered the fragrance Lover's Leather from Cyklar. The bottle is pretty small but with oil perfumes, you really do not need very much. This fragrance smells amazing. I have always preferred fragrances that smell musky, spicy, and earthy, so I guess to some, a little more masculine leaning. This fragrance has a touch of sweetness layered with leather, sandalwood, and musk. I think it smells amazing. The roller ball applicator does not release too much of the oil, which is great. This fragrance is very gentle, does not have much throw - meaning you won't inundate everyone you come in contact with with your fragrance of choice for the day. I personally like that, I don't want to be that person who smells too strongly of perfume. It's fairly long lasting though the fragrance does get a bit weaker as the day wears on. I can still barely smell it where I applied it on my wrists yesterday. Overall, I really like it. I wish the bottle were a bit larger and the scent could be a little stronger. It's very delicate, absolutely unisex, and feels to me to be good quality. ... show more
