I needed a decent box for my handy house tools, this one absolutely does the job, it comes with a tray which is great, the lid snaps lock in place very well, it has not ever opened up on me while carrying it. I believe it was $10 if I recall, totally completely worth it.

Not thick enough, the front of the box bows making locking difficult. Pops open at times. Got it to store Dremel parts and attachments so I can find them. It'll do.

I was looking for a small-ish toolbox for my electrical kit for my boat, and this worked perfect. No metal means no rust, and it seems sturdy enough for this task. Very good storage for the size too, especially in upper tray. Previous box had little compartments in the top of the box that I didn't use, and those cut into the tray storage space. Liked this better because more height above tray so I could get my volt meter in there. And yes I did spend way too much time thinking about what kind of toolbox to get :-) ... show more

My husband was carrying all his chainsaw sharpening needs (he just started doing the sharpening himself) in an amazon box because we always seem to have a few on hand. I saw this toolbox and decided to get it because an old guy with two chainsaws and a Harley just looks silly with a cardboard box for tools. It is well made, the 18" length ensures everything fits, doesn't nick up and it is 'just right'. He has been using it for a while now and it is holding up just fine. i spray painted this whole thing pink for my wife to keep her medicines in. she has a lot of them. it holds them great but you can tell the sides are pretty thin and bend easily .
