Actually, it's cheesy for a tool box. However it's a nice little fishing tackle box. I have a huge fishing tackle box, that was for a boat that I owed for 12 years. That's way to large but if someone came fishing and didn't have proper tackle. I provided them with whatever they needed.

Is it a toolbox? Yes. Is it one I'd recommend for any physically intensive jobs? No. This is a perfect arts and crafts toolbox, but I wouldn't expect it to stand up to any sort of abuse. The whole thing is made of flimsy plastic, and the top compartment feels like it could very easily break off with very little effort. Not terribly impressed by this product, but it'll work for around the house jobs. ... show more

I am an amateur guitar builder, and I have a number of small tools that are used to fix, build and set-up guitars. I outgrew the small toolbox that I had and needed something a bit larger, but not as large as a typical toolbox. This lightweight toolbox was just right. I could fit all my small screw drivers, files, gauges, bushing pullers, pliers, clippers, and string winders, with room for more. I was looking for a small-ish toolbox for my electrical kit for my boat, and this worked perfect. No metal means no rust, and it seems sturdy enough for this task. Very good storage for the size too, especially in upper tray. Previous box had little compartments in the top of the box that I didn't use, and those cut into the tray storage space. Liked this better because more height above tray so I could get my volt meter in there. And yes I did spend way too much time thinking about what kind of toolbox to get :-) ... show more

Can't latch the lid shut, so I can't pick it up with the handle. I can fix anything and this I can Not fix.. If the top won't stay shut and can't pick the box up, it's useless. There is hole for a small lock, so I ran a wire through and twisted the ends together (like a bread tie) and it holds it, but can't put anything heavy in it..
