This was my favorite book as a child! 20 years ago! So as soon as I saw it here I had to buy it for my children! A pretty easy read I wouldn't compare it to the other step 2 books we have I would say more step 1 but I enjoyed it so much. Cute little story for halloween.

My first-grade grandson likes this book. It is an easy to read book that he can read quickly. He loves to add his own inflections to the reading. It a good book for teaching reading volume and why exclamation points are used. It also has a little suspense that makes it interesting.
