Simply remove the top tray to clean and leave the second for the next meal. • BEST highchair ever!
I cannot say enough great things about this high chair. It is pricey but it's 100% worth the price tag. My only gripe is that the foot rest is not more adjustable. We had to create a little styrofoam shelf for my daughter's feet to reach for a while. However, all the other features are great. It is very supportive, it leans back slightly and it rolls around easily. The tray is easy to operate and clean. We love this chair! ... show more

  • great high chair, great customer service
I love this high chair, and the Peg Perego customer service can't be beat. I haven't found the stationary front wheels to be a problem - we have a tiny kitchen and when my baby is in the high chair, I lock the casters on GO and can roll it wherever I need it. The movement is smooth and easy. I'm also impressed with how compact it folds down - since it stands on its own, we fold it up, push it up to the kitchen table as if it were a chair, lock the wheels to STOP, and that works for us for now. It's also super stylish, and I get compliments from friends - everybody wants to know where I got this high chair. Luckily I caught a flash sale on Amazon and got it for a steal. Note that when you first get it, the arms will probably be a bit warped, and the tray table won't line up with the holes. You have to do a bit of work to get the tray in and out, and it's not a one-handed operation. I called Peg Perego and was told by their customer service that this is a known issue and has to do with how the frames are shipped and stored, and was advised to store the tray table in place in the arms for a week or two. So far this is working, and the arms are slowly correcting themselves. It's not fully corrected after a week, but it's on track to be fixed in another week or so. They did send me another frame but it had the same issue. I've been impressed with their level of customer service through this process, even if it was a little frustrating to get such an expensive high chair that had a warp issue. But that's literally the only issue with this chair, and since it's easily fixed and doesn't really detract from the high chair I can't knock any stars off because I love everything else about it. It's clearly a high quality item, every component is well made and works well, it's easy to keep clean as almost everything detaches, and my baby enjoys sitting in it. What more can you ask of a high chair? ... show more

  • Definitely worth $$$
Color: Aquarelle (White)
Hi! I normally don’t write reviews but this is worth mentioning ( fyi this is not a paid review tho, just an honest opinion from a mom to another mom/parent out there). This high chair is quality-made and safe for the baby, definitely worth the $$$. My 7 month old is comfortable in it, and enjoys having a large dining tray surface to play with toys ( of course if not eating). In terms of assembly, there was minimal to no effort as it came pre-assembled for the most part. It does recline smoothly. I only wish I got it earlier lol. ... show more

  • Fantastic high chair - even for a newborn
This is the first review I've ever left on Amazon and it's because this high chair is awesome. I have a newborn that's a fussy eater and stops eating unless we place her in exactly the right position/angle. I had no idea a high chair was even an option for such small babies. I stumbled on the Siesta while in a store and remember thinking wow that's a good looking high chair... oh it's made in Italy? Even better. I researched online and saw I can use it for my 1.5 mo old at the time and I gave it a shot. We've had it for a month now and I love it. It's durable, easy to clean and the infant insert is super helpful, too. It was easy to put together and easy to change height. Only minor complaint is that it doesn't move well over carpets. That aside, it's a fantastic high chair that I know is going to last us may years. ... show more

  • Made in Italy and very comfy!
Color: Wonder Grey (Grey)
This is the best chair of all of the ones we tried for both of our kids! It's made in Italy, very well built, easy to clean and seems very comfy with its padded seat.

  • The good and the alluring.
Color: Licorice (Black)
The good things: I agonized over which high chair to purchase for our first child. I remember the babysitting days of struggling with ginormous high chairs that pinched baby's fingers and legs, got gross baby food stains on the cloth seats and took up 10 ft in the kitchen. I determined it would be wood or something else easy to clean. We live in an apartment so a small footprint is essential to me. I didn't want something obnoxiously baby-ish with circus animals or Pooh Bear (sorry, people). I wanted something sleek that would fit with our decor and not stick out like a sore thumb in our small open-concept kitchen-living-dining. Also, the chair needed to be quality, well-made, and solid. Check-check-check. Peg Perego Siesta is all of that good stuff. The minor annoying things: The doggone tray does not stay in place when stored if you have to fold up the high chair. Ours is always falling off the way-too-small tabs on the back legs. It is stupid how irritating that can be. If we did not fold up the high chair to get it out of the way we wouldn't care about this. The "one-handed" tray situation is not really one-handed. I have to really pull hard and brace my foot against the chair so that I'm not pulling it with me. Maybe I'm doing something wrong and there's a finesse to it. (yes, I squeeze the lever) The strangely alluring bonus things: It's nice that the chair lays back. When you have to give medicine to a squirmy baby it is very nice to have them buckled in and laying back. The wheels. I really like the wheels. I know there are complaints, but I keep them in "go" position and we have fun during dinner with being able to wheel in closer, or push the chair away. It swivels fine. The foot rest. My kid likes it. The buckles. They are really easy. I got pretty orange pureed carrot on them and was able to remove them and clean them quickly. They look brand new. The "leather"-like seat. So. Easy. To. Clean. And, since we got the black, it looks sleek and spotless after. Raising and lowering the chair. What a crazy feature. I have used it a couple times though. I throw a couple toys on the tray and pull it into the living room, lower it, and baby can sit there while we eat in front of the TV. After all this, is it worth $300? I'm still undecided and I would like to see how it holds up over time. But, if the things that are important to a very-picky first time mom, are important to you, then you'll fork over the change and you won't regret it either. ... show more
