5-layers disposable fitted sheet

Features 5

  • [Caregiver-Friendly Design] - PeelAways disposable bed sheets make caregiving simpler and more dignified. Soiled layer to reveal a fresh sheet underneath, no lifting or repositioning needed, disposal is just as easy.
  • [Incontinence & Bedwetting Protection] - Each layer is a soft, non-woven blend of 55% rayon and 45% polyester with breathable HydroShield waterproofing, giving you reliable bed wetting sheets that lock moisture away from the mattress all night.
  • [Soft, Durable & Quiet Fit] - As protective sheets for bed, this rayon-polyester blend feels soft against skin yet holds up through multiple layers. Unsoiled sheets stay put for 7 to 10 nights, available in 6" pockets (cot/twin), 9" pockets (Twin XL/standard hospital bed) and 12" pockets (Full/Queen/King) with elastic at the bottom for a snug, secure fit.
  • [Disposable Convenience & Hygiene] - Unlike washable protectors, these disposable fitted sheets skip the heavy laundering and manual bed changes. Just peel off the soiled layer and dispose of it like a diaper for better hygiene and less time on bed care.

Really cannot manage having a patient at home without these sheets/protector
Size: Twin – 5 Layers – 75" x 39" x 6" Number of Items: 1
Love this product since I first bought the original Peel-away product for use on a XL Twin with a deep mattress. Since then its been needed for a hospital bed and each version seems to say that it is good for them, however they all come in many different sizes of "twin" as well as depth and often are somewhat of an odder measurement than a standard twin as they are made for a specific type of bed technology, are air compression mattresses or similar. Due to this if a fitted bottom is used for a 'hospital bed' they are rarely anything but jersey knit to facilitate fitting a mattress without being so loose as to slide off or to tight and popping off. With Peel-away sheets you really need a good fit or as close as possible of the "peel-away" part becomes problematic. If its too big for the mattress the peeling of a layer from the fitted part in difficult and most times the corners pop off, and just in use the sheet, all layers, will shift off one side or the other. Of course the different sizes, such as "Camp" and "Cot", should help with that but other than trial or error which one? I have totally been unable t locate on the packaging or in descriptions the dimensions for the sheets and there are really not a great many standards between RV and Camper mattresses or bed padding, and none with those that make camping cot mattresses, and pads as they can be made to fit a specific make of cot or generic with often a difference of up to a couple of inches in length and/or width and depending on your choice the thickness can vary. So I have been hard put to determine what version of this product would work as there is not one that I can tell sold specifically for hospital beds in the realm of their estimated dimensions. So when the standard twin XL and standard twin Peel-away were both to large after trying I have moved on to this version to try on a hospital bed although from reviews its possible that the right size might actually end up being the cot version but even reviews are hard to go with as some apparently found them fine for a narrower bed while others found them only good to fit a toddler bed. These are really the most practical solution for 100 different things we deal with with bed sheets, from a quick change at 3 am, to going through a lot of sheet changing but having limited laundry facilities, being able to know one is actually sleeping on a clean sheet when traveling and so many other things and a sheet that also protects is a real boon. It just really would help all users I would think, to have a much better idea of the dimension before buying, so they do not have to buy several versions to find the right one. UPDATE: I did finally find the sheet measurements on the back of the package, which works fine for in store purchasing but online without a image of the back of the package it really does not. I still think that it is information that it would be helpful to apply in their write up. As it turned out the Camp size is excellent for not just cots and camper beds, but if your have twin sized beds with mattresses under 9 inches deep, such as hospital beds. It gives a tighter fit so the sheets lay smoother without wrinkles to leave marks on patients, make s it easier to peel the top layer away and its less likely that due to deep sides the sheets will move about a lot. One of the most difficult things with caring for a patient at home, and a bed wedding child, is that these accidents are usually ones that happen in the middle of the night when no one is really in the mood to collect bedding to remake a bed and go through stripping a bed and remaking it. Of course we use both disposable and cloth bed pads, but those are not always 100% and it just so much easier to peel away the top layer of sheet along with any bedpads and bundle them up for disposal/laundry and the patient is already on a clean bedsheet without a lot of work getting a clean sheet back on the bed. All that is needed is to position dry bedpads and settle them back down an then you can go back to bed too. I can't imagine how much that would mean to both a parent and a child when bedwetting happens. This really is a quality product and we have never had an issue where one accident goes any further than the top layer. Before we started using these it was daily that a couple of bottom sheets as well as mattress protectors and mattress pads had to be laundered often meaning at least 2 wash loads a day. Since we started using Peel-Away products we are only washing the mattress protector and the pad once a week when thy are regularly changed. Granted with someone that is incontinent you may go through a pack more frequently then just changing on a weekly basis but given the amount of time and trouble of changing a bed at 3AM added to the additional workload of several loads of laundry a day these are a time saver, as well as a water and electricity saver and I spend less on detergents. ... show more

Excellent product! Sanitary, time saving, comfortable.

These disposable sheets have been a godsend. I had been layering sheets before, which was ok. These sheets are very absorbent and waterproof. When wet, peel off and toss with the wet adult diaper. Done. Not having to wash the linens and underpads has been so liberating - I don' have the washer running all day any longer. Husband finds the sheets soft and comfy. Grateful this product exists. Wish they sold item in bulk at a bulk discount. They aren't cheap. But I can't walk away from them now. They are that helpful! ... show more

Imperfect, still highly recommend!
Size: Queen – 5 Layers – 80" x 60" x 12" Number of Items: 1
We have used about 10 packages, mostly full-size for our preschooler. He has occasional night-time accidents, and even with a waterproof mattress pad, there have been a couple times it leaked through before we used Peelaways. The corners occasionally pop off the mattress as fitted sheets sometimes do, and the most frustrating design flaw is that the peeling layers can sag down in the middle. For small children who sleep near the top of the bed, they may end up urinating in the spot where the top layers sag down, and sometimes we’ve had to discard two layers or even the whole item because the urine occurred in an uncovered spot. The base layer still protects. Chances are you will still have to wash the blanket, pillowcase and/or pillow in these. TIP: since you will have to do laundry with a urinary accident, use a fitted sheet over the Peelaway to keep it in place. We’ve gone back and forth on using one, but I’m back to adding the fitted sheet over Peelaway after last night! (Admittedly, I don’t feel good about the waste from these, but protecting your mattress along with a waterproof mattress pad is important.) ... show more

Save your mattress!
Size: King – 5 Layers – 80" x 78" x 12" Number of Items: 1
Unlike even high quality washable waterproof mattress covers that do not completely protect your mattress, Peelaways work! With a normal mattress pad, if moisture remains long, it will permeate and soak into your mattress. With this product, a wet patch can wait until morning to be changed. Changing it is a breeze - Not sure what others meant when they said it was difficult. The top layer just rips off. Some important notes: 1. Fit - some have reported that it does not fit. On my King mattress it is a little loose, however, it stays on fine with a fitted sheet over it. 2. Softness - it is pretty soft but I would recommend sleeping with a sheet over top. Washing a sheet is no big deal and it is more comfortable. 3. Durability - they recommend changing the product layer every week to 10 days so that the product can last 50 days. If there are no leaks, we have gone as long as 3 weeks with no durability issues on the exposed layer. I assume it may last a couple months for some people blessed not to have leaks very often. 4. Dryness - keeps mattress completely dry. Does not bleed into layers below. Not intended to absorb lots of liquid. A small leak will create a large wet spot 5. Breathability - unlike other waterproof mattress pads, I have not noticed any breathability/sweating issues with this product. Overall an amazing product! ... show more

If you are a heavy person these do not work. Only lasted a day before my person had them all slid off of the bed. Of course the same thing may happen with any weight.
