This is a beautiful, thick paper that I had intended to use on my countertop. Until you touch it, you would swear you were looking at wood, and nice wood at that. I had ordered this to use on my countertop until I can get around to replacing it. However, the "Off white" is actually light brown wood. They had photos of off white, but they sent light brown. I returned it, and they sent another light brown. At that point, they also changed the photo on the site to show the light brown, but it still said off white. I was disappointed that the off white was not available, even though it is still called off white. However, I have since decided to use this on the table of our RV, which is currently somewhere in Texas. When it comes home, I will use this and post if I have any problems. However, I am fairly sure I will have no problems. I have used many varieties of this sort of "contact paper" and, except for stick and pattern match-up, it is not that difficult to use. I can already see the pattern matches up and I have put a sample of this up (in humid weather) and it is sticking well. This is a forgiving version that does not get lots of nasty bubbles. The back has a nice grid to make cutting easier. So despite my disappointment in the color, this is a very nice item that will work for me in the end. Edit: I realized I had plenty of paper do I decided to "relook" a counter to make a coffee bar. The paper was easy to work with. I was able to reposition it when I realized I was off by a fraction. The built-ins in our new house were a dreadful creamy yellow color, I painted them black and then added pieces of this to the back of each of the cubbies. I'm beyond thrilled with how it turned out. They look modern & amazing now, originally I was going to have the built-ins and the stone fireplace torn out but now I'm so happy with how they all look together that I'm keeping it as is!

I was wanting to use this on my walls. It sticks well, but it's difficult to line up on the wall so that it looks like one big piece. If you bend it too much while removing the paper, then it's noticeable where you bent it. Just go slow & they'll be no bends! It is good quality & looks just like wood. It would be great for smaller projects like a table top or something smaller than a wall. :-) I do like that its 24 inches wide. Wider than most contact paper!

This contact paper is slightly textured so it feels more like wood grain. It is easy to cut to size with scissors and has a grid on the reverse side. Adhesion is good too. I had ordered this to fix the peeling veneer on the side of a bathroom cupboard but it wasn't as close of match in person as I'd hoped. Instead, I used this to decorate some jars I was repurposing and, other than a slight issue on my part lining the paper up, the result was cute.

This contact paper has a nice photo type printed wood grain pattern. If you didn’t know it wasn’t wood, it might fool you. The material itself is vinyl that will reflect light if you have it exposed to sunlight, so keep that in mind. The adhesive is strong. I used a utility knife and a VERY straight piece of wood to cut it. I found it easier to lay it out on your project, marking lines where you want it to begin. Then slowly peel away the backing for the first few inches only, line up your marks you did in the previous step and spread firmly with the included putty knife. Slowly peel away the rest while using the putty knife to insure no bubbles are formed. The key is not to rush this, you basically have one shot to get it right. Overall good contact paper with strong adhesion and real to life woodgrain pattern. Recommended.

need to redo the surface or interior of a cabinet or somesuch? why not go woodgrain? while it won't fool someone on close inspection, the wood look blends nicely in an actual wood fixture, and with an enormous amount (24" x 394"), you really could, if you wanted, contact paper your door. not that i would. my current dresser set has its interior protected by woodgrain contact paper like this. produces a nice finish and is also protective. good stuff!

Nice wide option and 1 long roll of size 365 was enough to cover my kitchen island will see how long it will last but so far I love it. Had a few air bubbles paper felt a bit thin when working with it but is not see thru love the results it’s a cheap alternative instead of buying a wood top

This is a huge amount of paper, over 65 square feet while most rolls are around 14 square feet. While peel and stick wallpaper would seemingly be easy to apply, it isn’t. The entire surface area to be covered must be thoroughly cleaned and dry before starting. And actually applying the wallpaper was a she-hound. I had to go slowly and carefully to avoid anything that bent the paper because that would leave a mark, sometimes remaining, no matter how much I tried smoothing it out. I needed to be equally careful to reduce the number of air bubbles as much as possible. And, I couldn’t stop and start, either, as it was easy to develop a bend that was too pronounced to smooth completely out. But, once installed, it was worth the effort. This wallpaper looks as close to actual wood as I thought possible. Not too glossy and the coloring is excellent. Much better than I expected.
